Comments: Although the building is new, the place was in an entire mess. It was definitely not clean, including the bathroom. I had to pick sheets for my bed from a messed up pile of sheets that lay on the kitchen table...doubt how clean these were. The rubbish bin hadn't been emptied after the previous tenants. Cigarette ashes lay on the sofa. I was disappointed that upon arrival i had to wait for an hour for the landlord to arrive and give me a room. Definitely would not return there!!!

Comments: This hostel is more like a privately run student small hall of residence than a regular hostel. Currently not much used by tourists so I got a complete 4 bedroom apartment to myself for the cost of a single room- great value. Situated near the University, the hostel is about 15-20 minutes walk from Cork bus station and about 10 minutes walk from the City Centre. There are local shops, takeaways and friendly pubs close to hostel.I was leave my gear very securely in the apartment.

Comments: the entire hotel was still under construction and therefor 40€ per night was just ridiculous. you don't even get breakfast for the money. also it's located in the worst part of cork, the rest of the city looks a lot better.

Comments: This hostel was disgusting. The stairs to the hostel smelled like pee and the whole place was just dirty. There was only one bathroom (that you cannot lock properly) for five people to use and I found four big bags full of household rubbish sitting in the kitchen. The location was good as it is near College and St. Finbar's Cathedral which is close to the city center, but the staff weren't entirely helpful nor friendly and the rooms are sort of overpriced too. I have stayed at other hostels in Cork City and they are much better. Seriously, do not think about staying in this craphole.

Comments: This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The staff were never around when I needed them and always snooping about when I didn't want them. They charge a 50 euro cash deposit for their electronic keys, which NEVER worked, myself and several other people found ourselves locked out on the streets until 4am. The location was impossible to find - nowehere is there a sign with the name written on it, we found it by chance after 2 hours looking! Also when we arrived (at 7pm) they werent sure if they would have space for us - even after our trav booking! We then had to wait hours for them to make up the beds and then they couldnt find the correct keys for our room. The place was a nightmare. This is just the tip of the iceberg - I havent even mentioned the awful showers yet! I wouldn't stay here again. Pure greed and bad value for money!

Comments: You didnt' answer your phone, there's no signage and it's in a crappy part of town. You had better not have charged me. I stood outside the address listed and rang. I called and no one answered. Because of this I wound up spending 95€ on a hotel at the airport.
