| Comments: This is my first visit to the UK and so I do not know if my experience was ususual or if it is the norm, but I am sorry to say that I did not feel 'cared-for'. I have had better service from similar places in Genova, Pisa, Rome, Bremen, Venice and Vienna. For a three star hotel, the room was surprisingly small and had several details missing: a door knob on the inside of the bathroom door to pull it shut, a net on the window facing the street, a short introduction to the facilities available to the guests in the place.... I was readily provided help when I asked for it, but I had to ask for it, no one asked me if I am comfortable or if there is something I needed. I am however glad to say that the place runs like a clock, neat and efficient, so if I was looking for a place to sleep and not be bothered, this would be a good choice. |
