It was 15min on the bus (1euro) from the airport and 10 min on the bus to the city centre which was all very easy. 300m from the beach and some summer bars. The area is not buzzing but u can find stuff or go to city centre. Cheap. Staff nice. And you can come and go as you please.

Easy to get to the city tho, just a quick bus trip. Since it is outside the city it isn´t hopping with fun but it was clean, the owners were lovely so I recommend it!!!

Not sure if it's the location or the dorm room opening directly to an outside patio but we got eaten alive by mosquitos at night! Has kitchen and internet. Bathrooms didn't seem to be cleaned everyday but overall place was clean.

La habitación tenía humedades de manera que se estaba cayendo la pintura de la pared y olia a cerrado. Y para ir al centro tienes que coger autobuses ya que esta bastante alejado y no se puede ir caminando

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 13th August 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: ok, this is a very simple hostel. if you are ok with this, you can come here. it is kinda far from the city centre and also from nice clubs /bars (-30 min walking or taking buses), but instead it is 1min walking to the beach, so it is just up to what you want. It wasn't very clean, but it wasn't really dirty either. A plus is definitely the room upstairs for the girls. It has two huge balconies. Very nice!

It made it impossible to get help with transport for instance. Additionally it was extremely difficult to find using the instructions they gave us because of a road being repaired.

Good cheap hostel, however i think i may have got bed bug bites whilst staying there. It's a little warm too. But worth it if you only have a short stay.

The beach is literally five minutes, if that, from the front door. Also, the hostel feels like a house, in a good way, so it´s comfortable and without pretense.

The common room is right above the rooms so if you're trying to sleep there is no possible way. Good location near a beach but not the best one. I would probably never go here again.

This was my first time every staying in a hostel, but I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. It was laid back, social, and felt like a home rather than a hostal. My only suggestions to the staff might be to add trash cans in the bedrooms and spruce up the patio off the kitchen. It might be a great additional selling point if the hostal had beach umbrellas for rent, since the ones on the beaches fill up fast.

The hostel is a bit tricky to find (we never located the mercado de Huelin that was referenced in the directions, despite asking 15 different people from Malaga) so be sure to map it before you go. Also the hostel IS close to the beach but it is not the main beach of Malaga and it is about a 25 minute walk to the central area and beaches of the city.
