Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Brazil 3rd March 2008 - - 3/5 Comments: I booked a double bed one month in advance, but when I got there they did not know which room they were going to give me due to a problem they had in the hotel system.Somebody told me that I had to wait 3 hours untill they figured out which room was avalaible for me, I found it very anoying. I ended up wainting only 20 minutes and getting a twin bedroom, that was just not acceptable...I suggest Aleto management to improve their booking records....

The hostel is really more like a hotel for young people. Everything is so new and clean. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are quite big and there is a TV with all the German TV programmes on every room. Downstairs you will find a typical German soccer table (Kicker) and a darts game to have fun with. The breakfast buffet is like in a hotel, too. Only negative thing they could improve on is the juice at breakfast. That's just water with some fruity colour. But if that's all... Why not stay here? You will definetely enjoy your stay!

I stayed in a private room, which was just big enough with a very comfortable bed, good lighting, a desk, a full bathroom, and everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. It's not right in the center of things but it's very close to a U-Bahn stop, which makes it very convenient. It's definitely an excellent deal for the money.

A little out of the way from the Hauptbahnhof and S-Bahn lines, though a U-Bahn runs just about a block away. Very clean, helpful staff, good breakfast, and quite a bit of entertainment available for those looking to lounge around a bit. Would definitely visit again.

It is only a half hour walk to Zoo Station or you can catch bus. It looks like a hostel but it is really quiet and clean. We highly recommend the Aletto.

The staff were great and very helpful while the rooms were very clean and of a good size. The location isn't ideal but this is only a minor issue and there are some underground stations very close to the hostel. We would definitely stay here again and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

Its brand new, the rooms are of a good size with ensuite facilities (optional). Breakfast was generous but modest in variety - having said that it was filing none-the-less. Location was great, with walking distance to Potsdamer Platz, Jewish Museum and well connected with the U-bahn. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone planning a trip to berlin.
