The Posada Del Rio country inn is located in Alozaina in the Andalusian province of Malàga, 50 km from the capital of the Costa del Sol. Alozaina, which means 'little fortress' and "healthy and good place", is a charming white village of 2500 inhabitants in the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves where you can escape from daily strains. In 1995 the Sierra de las Nieves was declared a BIOSPHERE RESERVE by UNESCO. The area offers our guests many possibilities of organizing their leisure time: You can go on hiking- or biking tours on excellent paths, you can discover the beautiful flora and fauna in different climate zones or you can have a look at archaeological discoveries, some of them dating back to the Stone Age or you can jus relax and enjoy tipical and drinks on a terrace or in one of the Restaurants or Bars of the village. You can also go on daily excursions to monumental cities like Malaga, Ronda, Seville, dordoba or Granada. The family run establishment offers all the comforts of a hotel. Most of the 11 individually furnished and beautifully decorated double rooms have a balcony.
