The very fact that you wake up to the bells chiming is something special and Leonardo was very helpful and personable. There is a nice bar about 150 yards around the corner called Amadeus which played good music in various genres such as rock and soul and disco.

Leonardo is very helpful, and gave us heaps of information on what to see and do in Florence. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Florence.

However, the room was nice and the location was excellent.

The best part was Leonardo who was super friendly and very helpful. The day we checked out there was a train strike and we couldn't leave Florence, and even though he was all booked up he helped us find accommodation elsewhere and walked us there. So nice!

A few small repairs need to be done though i.e. our door knob was nearly falling off the door. Leonardo was very helpful though in telling us about the most important sites, best restaurants, etc.

The room is very quite at night so you can rest and sleep pacefully without any noise. Staff is allways available for you 24h, they help you in any questions you have. Bathrooms are extremly clean. The location is perfect so close to the uffizzi, duomo, academy gallery, all in 5 min. We had so much fun in this hostel, and next time we come back in florence for sure will stay here again.

There was a warm personal welcome, we had complete independence to come and go, and the accommodation was superb. If visiting Florence again this, without hesitation, would be the place where I would stay.

When we first arrived Leonardo brought us to our room right away so we could take our heavy backpacks off, and THEN we could worry about passports and payment. It seems like such a small thing but the thoughtfulness really meant a lot to us. We were given maps and shown the main attractions of the area. Internet worked well too. All in all a great place and we'd stay there again!
