The Guest House is beautifull, the breakfast very good. I think is a bit expensive, but we were in the middle of the Edinburgh Festival, so, maybe that's the reason. I'll definitly be back again.

The proprietor, while pleasant, did little to make us feel particularly welcome. There is carpet on the bathroom floor, and the carpet elsewhere badly required replacing. The ceiling is showing signs of damp, and the window frames are not in suitable condition for a b&b. A £2 surcharge for use of credit card upon payment of final balance is ridiculous.

The staff was very polite and nice. I got lost on the first day and they helped me. Everything was so clean and there is a bus station close to the hotel.
