Nice kitchen (but no microwave) and eating area, and the little garden looked very nice. The door to my room was always left slightly open (I suppose because you have to really push on it to close it) and there were no lockers... but I didn't feel like my stuff was going to be stolen. Reading lights would have been nice. This hostel is right around the corner from the Wexford Festival Opera. It's a nice little place!

Not impressed that my bunk was taken by someone else though when I returned to my room after a night out!!!!! Not on. Maybe the hostel should allocate specific beds to people to prevent this happening.

One thing she would like to add, and she's right: lockers for people's property. We all travel with valuables, and lockers for these would really help with our feeling our stuff is secure.

I felt at home. Its in a great location next to pubs with music right in the heart of Wexford.

Staff are nice. Location is good (afterall, Wexford is not that big). BTW, I slept in a lower bunk bed in a dorm and I found that there was not enough room to sit on the bed. Overall, recommended.

I had a wonderful time, the staff was the nicest ever and Wexford is a cute town, you have to see! I watched st. patty´s procession and met the friendly irish people. you can get a guinnes whenever you want ;) so come and visit Kirwan House in Wexford!
