| Comments: I thought it was a good, clean hotel for the downtown area. It suited our needs just fine but I wouldn't consider it a 4 star hotel, as they do in their advertising. |

| Comments: Will never return to this hotel. Smells bad and is in desperate need of a renovation. The only reason I didnt turn around and left was because it was too late at night. |

| Comments: Hotel air conditioner behind pool is very very noisy. It is all you can hear, day and night, when on your balcony on the pool side. It is the rattle of a bad or unbalanced fan. |

| Comments: Not a bad little hotel in Downtown Cancun...if your looking for the nightlife its a good 25 minute bus ride away or a 10 minute taxi, but its full of Mexican character! |

| Comments: I would recommend to friends for sure, although I only paid $43/day online, the posted rate was $85. At the online rate is was great deal with pool and balcony and good resturant. Poor picture quality on my tv, lack of any ice bucket or container even though ice is available free at the resturant. Pool opened till 11pm was OK but smallish. Location in Cancun Centro was great for nightlife for the average person. The Hotel district is best for Clubbing and Partying but this best for me |

| Comments: The hotel is downtown near bus terminal which is good... room prices were very high during christmas vacation.. restaurant is pricey and food is not top quality... rooms are dull with no microwave.. showers have low pressure and hot water is only available early in the morning... staff doesn't really seem to care. They were always preoccupied or treated you like a chore.. the beds were very low quality with no padding. The pool area is like swimming in a cave. For the single male looking for action or the extremely budget conscious couple it could work... but for american families.. find something else.. mexican families.. welcome home. Why? to Americans this hotel isn't even the quality of a Days Inn or Motel 8.. to mexicans.. the price is right and WE can put up with a lot of @#$% without getting upset and rocking the boat. |

| Comments: Please do not print my name or email on this review.
Hotel Margaritas is a hotel, not a hostel.
Everything is painted nice and bright and sunny yellow.
Unfortunately, the water pressure is low in the showers and the toilets don't flush very well (but this appears to be a common problem in Cancun city).
More unforgivably, the card key to one's room does not always work. This is a big problem if you are rushing back to your room with Montezuma's Revenge!
I reserved a stay of one week, but I left halfway through and lost half of my deposit.
I would not go back to Hotel Margaritas! |

| Comments: We were a bit upset that, returning two weeks later, the reservation we requested at the front desk simply were not made, and we had to look for another hotel.
I take this must have been a fault of the clerk, not a problem with the hotel. The same clerk told us he didn't know where to find a Casa de Cambio, when there was one right in front of the hotel! And I thought it was silly that he insisted on speaking English with us when we would rather speak Spanish.
I'm only mentioning these details so some improvements can be made if necessary. We liked the hotel very much and would still stay there if we return to Cancun. |

| Comments: Generally good value for money. Very good location in the middle of Yaxchilan street, just a step from fine mexican restaurants and bars. Good sized room, fine beds. Had some problems getting hot water to run properly, otherwise we were very pleased. |
