Very irritating when carrying a heavy bag in the rain up the very steep hill! I booked a "Double Bed Private Ensuite" room, but was given a room with an external shower & toilet. The wireless internet signal was too weak to connect to, even outside the room. As a result I ended up running a few km's around Florence in the rain to arrange alternative accommodation at the last minute.

Most of the staff were friendly. The only complaint we had was that you had to get in early to get some food for breakfast as most of it was not replenished.

The walk is dangerous as there are no sidewalks, property walls right against the road and completley up hill. Other than the walk, the place is in a stunning location, with beautiful rooms, air conditioning and nice gardens to relax in.

The staff was amazing, we got free rides into the city center each day we were there, a lovely free breakfast, and help with our bags on our way out. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and extremely clean. The price was really low for the service and location. It was just great!

We will stay here again when we come to Tuscany! Thank you Nadia and Andrea.

The B&B is quite far out of the old part of Florence, about 35 mins walk, but they do offer a free lift in at 10am and a return lift at 6pm (a taxi at night will cost around 15 euros). This is great though as it's up on the hill so is quiet and the views from the rooms are amazing! We had the red room (suite rossa) which was a lovely large room and had a private (but not ensuit) bathroom. There was plenty of parking as they are out of the city.

By far the most memorable stay in Italy. Although it\'s located a bit outside of town, the twice daily shuttles make it relatively accessible. Definitely recommended to all!

Spectacular views, clean, comfortable and unique. Hosts were really helpful, picked us up on arrival and they drive you to central Florence everyday. Nadia went out of her way to be helpful. The wonderful views do however come at the price of a 30 minute walk to the top of the hill - but if you use their shuttle service it is fine.

If you wanted easy access to Florence though it is a bit of a drag. It is walkable but not very pleasant- traffic, no footpath.Transport to and from Florence on occasion.
