Shared bathrooms were satisfactory, however for the price i paid i couldnt complain and would definitely recommend to travellers on a budget who just need somewhere to sleep.

Although my check in time was 7am, I have been told that"usual"check in time is 10 am and trav is mis-guiding the customers. Then I was recommended to change my clothes in common toilets before attending to the conference in manchester central. They need to improve their services and staff.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 18th September 2008 Male 25-30 3/5 Comments: Very satisfactory. cheap and handy located close to both the piccadilly station and and the coach station. well functioning showers, with shampoo and towels. it's pleasent to be(come) clean. the beds were satisfactory as well, but the air was dense and unfresh. breakfest was food. it's good to be full. however, the coffee was not to our liking. we could return to the hostel at any time of the day or night. for gay people the location is excellent, due to its closeness to the gay village. however, if you're not gay decent boozers are harder to come by.

Bed cover had cigarette burn holes in it and looked like it hadn;t been washed in months! Toilets and shower were decent. The staff were rude and unhelpful. It was interesting to hear the way they spoke about each other and customers when using the lounge area above the foyer. They swore and cursed and were very unprofessional. They even spoke about having anal sex with a group of guys that had just checked in.

Old school cinema theme in common areas. Actual room was pretty small but had all the comforts, including lots of tea and coffee, which was appreciated. The cooked breakfast is quite good.

Didn't spend much time there so could put up with it, but not recommended for more then one night!

Tha bathroom door was just a big piece o wood without a doornob and there wasn´t even a mirror in the bathroom. The breakfast was good, the staff was helpful, but the room could have been better. One of the pieces of furniture in the room was also broken and there was a tv but we couldn´t get it to turn on. The location was good though.

The youth hostels I stayed in were SO much nicer and cleaner. Hotel International was the worst place I stayed in 2 months. The room smelled musty and smoky. The windows did not open. The breakfast was incredibly greasy and from the dining room I could smell the cooks smoking in the back.

The room facilities are excellent. the only complaint is the beds in my room need new mattresses. You could literally feel the springs when you lie on them. The noise level at the bar below gets into you till 2-3am in the morning. Otherwise it's a good place to stay as it is only a 5 minnutes walk from the train station.
