Horreur absolue!!! A éviter absolument!!!! |

| Comments: Don't stay here!
We were overcharged for our room by about 20 euros!
The staff is virtually nonexistent The rooms are old and smelly. The walls are thin. You can hear everything happening on your floor. And the hotel is actually in the suburbs of Marseille.
Definitely not worth the money. just say no... |

| Comments: It\'s terrible. I don\'t advice this hotel. Besides, it\'s not a hotel. The room is very dirty, and the bed too. It has not a reception, you have to call for someone to give you a pass to enter in \"hotel\". Terrible. I think that trav should cancel this name of the site. I\'m from Brasil and i never saw it. I hated. |

| Comments: Opening hours for reception and restaurant not as stated. We arrived at 00 30 pm and the whole place was closed. A sign with a telephone number did not work with our mobile phones. We succeeded to get help from a police-patrol who managed to get contact with the owner and we could finally take our poor room into possession. |

| Comments: Dirty dirty dirty! They didn't cleaned the bed and towels once (and we've been there for a week!), the bed was broken and therefore ducktaped, we had a broken sink, mould all over the bathroom (and it was smelly), there is no private toilet, there were dead cockroaches on the floor next to the kitchen and the staff was only in the hotel from 07.00h - 15.00h (they were nice though). The location is very good and the beach is near. |

| Comments: When we made our reservation we specified that we would be arriving after 10pm, and on arrival we discovered that we needed a code to get in anytime after 930 pm and so we had to search around town for a phone to get the code which was a nightmare late at night! When we got into our room our sink was broken so when we went to brush our teeth the bathroom flooded! Also, when we went downstairs at night we saw massive cockroaches in the restraunt part of the hostel - disgusting! |

| Comments: We were disappointed to find out that a private bathroom meant only a shower and sink (no toilet). We felt that the price was reasonable for the area we were in. |

| Comments: Horrific.....If you have to choose between Le Huitieme and a park bench, take the park bench option! Booked a 2 bed twin room had to sleep 2 males in a double bed that was not much larger than a single in a small, cramped, loud, hot, unclean room. The bathrooms are mouldy and you can only check-in at certain times yet it is mentioned that there is a 24hour reception. Basically dont stay there. |

| Comments: the place is hardly ever open, and our private bedroom with private bathroom was just that... a shower and sink, the toilet is out in the hall to share with the entire floor. We stayed 4 nights and the room wasnt cleaned once, the bed had broken so they'd chucked a piece of wood under the mattress that hung out at the ends, and the room was hotter than my local sauna. Ive stayed in hostels that are 100X better, and a tenth of the price. |

| Comments: They messed up our booking, so haven\'t actually stayed at the place. Though they were very helpful and found an other hotel with better placement for us. And they paid for the taxi to the other hotel. |

| Comments: The staff were so helpful. They were really lovely and helped me to find a doctor when I was sick.
As far as cleanliness goes, there was popcorn in one of the beds and crumbs on the floor when we arrived. We also returned in the evening to find the door of our room wide open (we had locked it)- the cleaner had probably forgot to lock it, but luckily none of our belongings were taken. |

| Comments: Staff were great but could not make up for substandard room. First I noticed stickiness & black mould in the bathroom. Then I could not regulate the hot and cold water in the shower. I did speak to the staff who called in a plumber. But there was no solution. So I used a small glass & water from the sink to wash all 3 days of my stay. The shower water was scalding hot. Also there were ugly black cockroaches in the room. On the plus side housekeeping neatened the room every day. |

| Comments: good if you want to stay close to the beach otherwise you have to take the bus or the metro , and they stop working by 10 pm, but you can also ride a bike, there is a bike station very close to the hostel. |
