It was wonderful, but if you prefer crowds, summer must be crazy busy based on how many other similar-looking places are in the area. Way outside of Rome, if you want to get away from the and enjoy the beach, this place is perfect. Only complaint: rooms get a bit chilly at night, so pack warm pjs. Overall, an excellent addition to a Rome trip. Special bonus: a hired car will take you to Fiumicino airport for only EUR 25.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Italy 26th September 2008 Mixed Group 18-24 2/5 Comments: You had to pay for toilet paper and soap, which is absolutely ridiculous if you\'re staying only for a few nights. We were also told that we had to pay € 5 for the beach by a staff member, despite the fact that the website says you don\'t have to pay anything. Another member of staff refused to speak to us in English. Also, it is more than € 1 to get into downtown Rome, and it takes more than an hour to get there. The heat also didn\'t work, and the showers were absolutely freezing. There were also rabid cats. One of them got into our room and slobbered all over a bed. Being by the beach was nice, though we didn\'t actually go since we didn\'t want to pay. Also, if you come back from Rome or another town after 9ish, you have to walk from the train station to the hostel because the buses stop running...so plan to have an early night if you don\'t want to walk a mile at night time on a dark road. It was quite an experience being there, but I don\'t think we\'ll be going back.

Der Campingplatz hat schöne Stellen für Zelte, die Hütten sind schön jedoch ist das Bad leicht süffig. Die Umgebung ist sehr laut und leiter das Personal nicht besonders nett!! Man kann was daraus machen aber perfekt ist es nicht...

The area immediately surrounding the campsite is dirty and unsafe looking. We saw more than one "streetwalker" looking for business nearby.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 6th November 2007 - - 3/5 Comments: It was nice for a camp site, but we went at an off peak time and a lot of shops and resources around us were closed at the time. It is on the Med, which was nice. The cabins are typical, but security was poor given the locks don\'t always work and security boxes only fit passports and smaller items. The bus allowed us to get into the city, but running only about once an hour, making travel a little difficult. Probably a better stay during the peak of the season, but not an unpleasant place to stay regardless.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 2nd November 2007 Female 18-24 2/5 Comments: I would't stay here again, as the location is Terrible, getting there was terrifying, you have to walk a 2km stretch to get there or wait for a bus that never seems to come. When walking along that 2km stretch men in cars will try to pick you up as along that highway there are many prostitutes. I was terrified walking there. Police aswell as bus drivers tols us that it was a bad area. We checked out a day early on a two day reservation. I would not recomend this to any girls of any age.
