Our room was very large, pretty and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had been double booked for one night but we were only told on arrival (were put in another hostel close by) so watch out for this.

No breakfast facilities but this hardly matters with so many cafes nearby. An absolutely fantastic hostel, the best I've stayed at. Recommended.

I recommend K&T absolutely - as matter of fact - I\'m going again in few days, but unfortunately no vacancy :-(

Everything was in good condition, room looks fresh renovated. The mattress could be better, but for three nights it was ok. Room and bath was veeeery clean, every day room service. Room is spacious (see photos), but bath is small (shower cabin approx. 80x80 cm). Shower water gets hot quick, good pressure. Towels are thick, but small. Modern sound-proof windows keep the noise out, but it was quiet anyway because of the yard. (The room to the street could be more noisy.) Only noise comes from other guests, if walking/talking on the floor or using their bathroom. If the staff dont use their PC in the floor, you can use it for free internet connection. Our main reason for booking this room: We found it has the best relation between price and distance to the city center. The Boardinghouse is at a shopping street, only 3 minutes walk to the subway station \"Neubaugasse\". Drive three stations and you are in the city center! All hotels with the same price as the boardinghouse are located farther away. pro: good locaition, clean, spacoius room, free internet con: small bath, average mattress

My sister and I were both sick while in Vienna and she gave us the name of a nearby doctor, which was great. Notes: No access to kitchen! Pharmacy nearby. Internet connection is fast. Close to underground. Far from train station.

Only a few but large rooms, no kitchen and in an excellent location, in the middle of the main shopping drag of Vienna. And because it is on the 3rd floor, there were no noise problems. However, the time that we were staying we only saw the proprietor twice. They did leave a phone number where they could be reached, but it does make it a little less personal. Otherwise this is an excellent hostel.

Cozy and peaceful, yet at the same time right on the bustling street--Mariahilfer Strasse. The room is really nice and clean. It offered far more than I expected. If I have a chance to visit Vienna again, I will certainly choose here to stay.

Just need to be sure if arriving by metro to exit at the one as described otherwise you will go the wrong as I did. Also the it is numer 72 not unit. In Australia we write it the other way, which had me going in the wrong direction as well. Both things my fault. 3 floor is a bit of a hike especially when carrying a bag full of camera gear. Hard work at end of a long day.

The location is brilliant, and we found it very easy to get around and most of the best places to see where in easy access of the hostel. Tina who runs it is fantastic, and very friendly and has lots of information and helped with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, and our beds were very comfortable and so glad the hostel was so clean. Made out trip really fantastic.
