Comments: This place was hilarious. Although we got a room with a kitchen and there is a lidl across the road (always an added bonus), the place smelled, the directions are useless and the rooms overpriced. the guy manning the reception banged on our door in a frenzy one morning at 9am then when we didn\'t answer just let himself in. we were in bed so he freaked out and left. his excuse was that he needed a deposit for the key which the receptionist the day before had given us so we paid up then on chec

Comments: We had an apartment with its own bathroom and kitchen. Staff were friendly and usually helpful. However, the room was underground which meant only a small window at street level (with iron bars). This also meant that we could hear the trams at the stop just outside! Also, there were no pans in the kitchen and only a few pieces of crockery. Location is not directly central but there are good tram links, and the metro is only 5-10 minutes away. To walk to Charles Bridge is about 20 minutes.

Comments: This place is desgusting...the room was dark, and the towels and bed stuff werent really clean. And it is NOT 10 min walking from Wenceslau square (about 30 min). But there is one tram that pass by the street and go next to this square.

Comments: The place was fine, initially we had to wait 30 mins until the reception man came back from an errand before being taken to our room. But once in, the room was large with more than enough space, clean, and we had no problems while staying. The reception was small and there was no communal room (was a courtyard out back though) so no "fun" factor - but as we were there to see the city and not stay in our rooms it was not a problem. Would recommend.

Comments: A fair walk into town (25-30 mins) but tram/metro very handy. Miroslav is a great guy who went out of his way to help us. Some good restaurants close by and Lidl supermarket just around the corner - super cheap beer! Would stay again.

Comments: It\'s right behind Vysrhad and there are bars, shops, restaurants all nearby. It\'s about a 25 minute casual walk into town. When we first got to the pension, the owners were using our kitchen to store their food, so that was a bit weird. There were also a few stains/holes on the sheets. But, for the price, very well worth it. You are provided with a kettle, mini-fridge (to keep your beer cold), microwave, plates, glasses and utensils. The water is HOT so showers are great!

Comments: Don\'t believe the always smiling, seemingly always helpful and kind people! When you are a tourist every smile has its own price!!! Don\'t let them cheat on you and pay only for what you have been agreed in advance. Apart from this the place is not bad. I\'ve been in better places in the world but nothing more cannot be expected for this price.

Comments: This is not a place too clean. They won't give you the sheet between the cover and the matrass. Moreover the other sheet isn't enough to cover all the matrass! Toilets have to be used absolutely with slippers! The lady on the reception is lovely, the guys not too nice at all: seemed always annoyed!

Comments: The place is good and cheap, but be aware because some of the rooms are downstairs, so the window is at the level of the feet of the people that walks in the street.

Comments: The web site says it is 10 mins from Wencelaslas Square. This is by tram. It is a good 25 minute walk from the centre. This is a perfect place for families and couples. As a haven to go back to at the end of a big day walking and exploring Prague it is perfect. They are apartments that you can cook in, lie back in a glorious bath and make a home away from home. A wonderful place to compliment a glorious city.

Comments: good place, good price. we 5 stayed there 4 nights. it was a nice private apartment with a hall connecting to kitchen, bathroom & 2 rooms. everything needed can be founded in it. tables, chairs, wardrobes, TV, fridge, even microwave oven, oven, cupboard with plates and cutlery, just feels like at home. the owner seldom shows up. the guy working for him is very nice and friendly, able to speak fluent english. the location's ok, 3 bus stops or 10 minutes walk from downtown. we had fun there.

Comments: good price for what you get. we had a 4 person private room with t.v and bathroom. we stayed 3 nights at 300kc each per night and when we asked if we could stay another night they took us to a different room which was not as good as the last one and wanted 500kc more for it. they wouldnt believe what we payed the 3 nights before, we had to show a receipt and still they werent happy. they say if ur a student that u get discount but when we asked about it they had no idea what it was and you also dont get free beer on arival. Check out is at 10.30 and we were just putting our bags on and at 10.31 the owner was knocking on the door and telling us to get out. when we walked out of the room he was standing at the front door showing us the way out. we werent very happy as we had stayed there 4 nights and they still treated us like we were nothing. anyway, good hostel, good location, but service was very poor, we wouldnt stay there again.

Comments: this place took forever to find!! very bad directions online but once found it was nice. For only 18 euros each me and my boyfriend stayed in a double with kitchen and bathroom. very clean and a good deal for the price. it also was not far from the central the only time we have to take transit was to the palace.

Comments: This Pension was fantastic! Staff were great, very helpful! It was like a small apartment, really felt like home. Only downside was trying to find it. I suggest catching a tram from the station to Na Slupi - tram 24 or 18 (going south), it is south of the city heading towards the castle (not prague castle).

Comments: we arrived at 23:00 and they said the rooms were flooded, so they just gave us the 6 euros from the reservation back (in their currency) and didn't even care about us. very bad english, too. fuc*ing idiots...

Comments: we had a great room really huge and a own kitchen..the problem was there was a lot of construction at the road of the hostel so there wasn\'t a directv tram..it was pretty much walking and logistic planning..but the good thing is the hostel is in a real not touristic part of town to get in touch with real prague

Comments: We had a good stay. The only thing I would comment about is the noise of the passing trams in the night. If you are a light sleeper, take some ear plugs! In the day time, it's convenient for travel though.

Comments: Had a great time in Prague. The location was great for us as we didn't want to be right in the middle of it all, but it was also so easy to use the tram system to get about. Check out the Chodovar beer in the pub next door - really cheap and really good! Would definately recommend for a short break away.

Comments: An extremely friendly place in a fantastic little town. Excellent hiking and good views from the hill. Also an excelent local brewery. The town itself is extremely compact so you're never terribly far from anything you may need. Staff are really helpful and willing to go that extra mile to book excursions if asked nicely! Very crowded in high season!!!

Comments: The rooms were a good size, but the beds quite uncomfortable. Although the website says a 10 min walking distance from everything, it's really 30 mins. Overall it was a bit dingy. However, there is a beautiful castle and chapel just around the corner..with a wonderful view. Definetely worth a visit!

Comments: This was a nice pension, but if you have troubles sleeping in a noisy environment, it may not be the best choice. Location is on a major street, so the noise from cars and trucks driving on cobblestone is fairly intense, as is the noise from the passing tramlines. Bring earplugs!

Comments: Good value for the money. Near a tram line so access to central area is not a problem, but light sleeper be wary. Slightly damp\dank in the place, but reasonably clean. We had double room with a nice little kitchenette for great value.
