My only complaint would probably be the neighbourhood, as it seemed sketchy, and one staff member advised me not to walk to the metro before dawn, but it is close to the metro and Las Ramblas.

It fhas a dark and dusty feel and the roof if so low that I could not stand up straight (I am only 167cm tall). Great location. Would probably not stay in the hostel part again, maybe stay in one of the hotel rooms.

Though it was a little malodorous and the airconditioner, which could not be turned off, did make the room a little bit chilly at night. The double or twin rooms were lovely though and the receptionist(s) were fantastic-friendly and helpful.

Guy on reception was really friendly tho, and very willing to help, offering to call tourist areas for information, etc for us. Wall fan in room which was fantastic, would have been too hot otherwise.

So, there were quite a few steps to go up to the room, and the head room up there is limited. The security lock boxes were not functional, but I didn't have any problems with my stuff being safe. The best feature of this hostel is its prime location near the beach and old town (Vieille Ville).

Thanksfully the very understanding and friendly guy at the desk allowed me to change room to share with just another girl.

They do not have it there and you should go to another hotel with a 10 minutes distance. The room was clean, but very small, with a low height roof, look like it was a warehouse which was changed to a dormitory. Otherwise the staff were very helpful. There is no fun in the hostel, but around in street there are plenty of restaurants and very turistic place.

It was in a good location, very close to the beach and a good square with restaurants, etc., but the room itself was stained and old so it felt very unclean.

No kitchen. 1 block from the beach. 20 min walk from train station. I got there after 'reception' hrs. My code to get in wouldnt work so I was stranded outside until another guest came along and had the right code. Another girl staying there had the same problem with getting inside. So inconvenient!

The location is perfect, the staff are very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Would certainly recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Nice.
