| Comments: I stayed in a single room with private bathroom. The room was clean and very small. The hotel was noisy however, even though it is located on a calm street. I guess that the problem lied in the fact that the walls are thin and my window couldn´t be closed thanks to the antenna cable to the tv that ran through the gap. BUT, the staff are great. I have never had the pleasure to deal with staff this friendly which is pretty impressive knowing that I´ve stayed at a lot of way fancier hotels than this.
Prices are fairly expensive but considered cheap in London and the location is superb. I probably would stay here again. |

| Comments: Ok, so it's not exactly the Ritz or the Hilton but this hotel is located in the heart of the very fashionable Earl's Court and is within 2 or 3 minutes walking distance of Earl's Court Tube Station. Furthermore, it is only 35 minutes by Tube from Heathrow and it is very convenient.
I understand that it is a family-run hotel and you couldn't meet a friendlier or more helpful bunch of people -they can't do enough for you! Each day that I returned to the hotel I was handed the key [without stating which room I was in] and greeted by name. Yes, 4 or 5 star hotels are great but the warm welcome that I received here excelled this hotel far beyond anything I have experience in top end of the market hotels.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff have time for you. Ask them anything about London and they will give you the best [and friendliest]advice.
And would I come back here again? Absolutely!!! |

| Comments: I like this Hotel. It's only 2 stars but they make up for it with a smashing breakfast and a very hospitable crew. My single room w/bath was a small room with even smaller bath/shower but was very clean. Never could get the water temperature stay consistent though and the tv was from the 50's. Bedding was clean & crisp. Someone was always at the front desk with a smile, very helpful people. Will help with planning tours, advice on which subway to take...I was very impressed. They even loaned me an umbrella when I asked where to purchase one. Key has to be turned in each time you leave the building. They thought it might get lost(?). I'm a female traveling alone and I felt safe. WiFi worked good - 15pounds for a week-unlimited. Breakfast was very good with the regular cold cerals & toast but which also included fresh cut pineapples, fresh bananas and oranges, meat, cheese, fresh sliced tomatoes and croissants. The kitchen crew serve you coffee/tea/chocolate - brought to your table. Only things missing were eggs - but then it wouldn't be continental would it:) There's a tiny slow lift which was good since I was on the 3rd floor. I'd go back. Great bargin for the price. Around the corner from Earls Court underground - very accessible. I was gone most of each day so I'm not aware of how much fun was there. |

| Comments: For 55 pounds per night in a 2-star hotel, we thought we'd have a regular-sized room, instead of one which could have been likened to a cell, it was so tiny. |

| Comments: We lived in a Ensuite with a double bed and own bathroom with a tub. Even though the room was small it more than suited our needs.
It's very close (2 min. max) to Earl's Court subway where you can take the Piccadilly line or District line and restaurants and shops where plenty. The staff was more than helpful and made it first priority if you had any special requests. All in all I had a great time there |

| Comments: Our reservation was inexplicably cancelled by trav so it came as a shock when we were told by the receptionist that it was cancelled. The hotel was very helpful in accommodating us - giving us a discounted rate for one night once they'd realized what happened to us. Since ours was a 2 night stay, they kept us well informed of their availability (since they, and all other nearby hotels, were fully booked). The staff were delightfully courteous and thoroughly helpful. |

| Comments: We had 3 separate 2-Bed bookings with private bathrooms, and it was a major disappointment to find out that the hotel had completely different information about our bookings. I have successfully booked rooms through trav at least 6 times before, and this is the first major letdown. My booking numbers are 2672-8712326,-8712299 and -8712280, and they clearly state the fact Private Bathroom (mailed to me on 14th December) in the room details section, because they were the kind of rooms we always book when we go to London. In the hotel we were forced to pay £40 more in order to get private bathrooms! I expect this matter to be solved at once. I've been very pleased with Trav till this booking, but I'm being totally honest with you, that if this matter remains unsolved, I will not be in any contact with trav any more. By the way, there were a mouse (!) in one of the rooms, on two different days.
Sincerely Yours,
Juha Murtolahti

| Comments: surprisingly it is possible to find a nice hotel in a cheap (60, w toilet/bathroom + breakfast) price range. very friendly staff, central location (3mins to the earl's court underground station; -> direct connection to the airport w. piccadilly line). Also the room was bigger than expected!
nexy time I will choose this one again! |

| Comments: I feel bad saying anything negative, because the staff here were so accommodating and helpful during my stay. The location is convenient and breakfast is good. The only downside of the hotel was the cleanliness. Some things would be simple to fix (wipe the shelf in the closet and the walls near the sink, for example), but I suspect there is a problem with bugs. I had to be moved from my first room as my pillow had about 20 tiny bugs crawling on it when I went to get into bed. The staff was great about immediately moving me to another room, but I came away from there with several nasty bites that I got while sleeping. |

| Comments: For what I wanted out of a place to stay for a few evenings it was great. I was in the Basic without a bathroom and I found it to be small but useable. Its not a place to have tons of fun at. There is a train station right around the corner and everywhere you want to go is easily accessable. |
