Nice staff. provided us a map and showed us exactly where to go. hotel is about a 2 minute walk from a U1 metro stop. You just take 4 stops up the U1 and you will come out in the city center. Recommendations - Don't get breakfast. It. better to go to a Café. Bring sheets. You can get to clubs + bars easily. Says he doesn't take credit card, but if you say you don't have the cash he'll allow it.

Noisy 24 hours as rooms face to main road. Near shopping area for 5 mins access to a big supermarket. No cooking in the hotel and no fridge in rooms. Room cleanliness needs much to improve. Free WireLan from 07.00-22.00, but not applicable to rooms on 3rd floor. Fairly nice staffs. 3 Euro breakfast including orange juice, warm milk, tea, coffee or cocoa. Cheese, ham, bread and 4 or 5 kinds of spread.

The place is far from all the attractions and the city centre, just near the station Subanhof. Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Sweden 23rd February 2008 Couple 25-30 4/5 Comments: our review, short version: TOTALLY RECOMMENDED! our review, long version: It was a great stay of three nights, we enjoyed it so much! We, a youg couple from Germany, are travelling Europe quite often every year, and have made almost only good experience with Trav in Spain, Sweden, France, Austria etc. This hostel is definetly one of the best, we have been staying in! If you book some weeks in advance, you can get a double bed room for only EUR 22 each, and for additional EUR 3 you get a marvelous fresh and delicious breakfast with really everything you need. The breakfast is a must (daily 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.)! You can order it directly upon your arrival. The location of the hostel is very near to a Sparmarkt, and a Fußgängerzone. To the inner city you take 3 stations on the underground line U1. If you are landing with Ryanair in Bratislava, the shuttlebus to Vienna might drop you off at the P+R area next to the underground line U3-station Erdberg. Just take U3 to Stephansplatz, and from there U1 to Keplerplatz (that's the nearest underground-station to the hostel). All in all just 10 minutes to the city with the underground! The hostel is very safe, the access to the rooms is only possible with electronic keycards - so is the access to the hostel after 10 p.m. as well as the access to the reception/breakfast area in the morning. Checking out on your last day you have to do until 11 a.m., which is very fair. The hostel reception is open 24/7. If you want, you can spontaniously storage your luggage safely there for just EUR 1 per bag. Super! The rooms are very big and quite quiet, the beds are very comfortable. And, more important, the rooms and bathroom-areas are very clean as well. We have been to Spain, so we know what we talk about! There's a lockable WC + (big!) shower room in each hostelroom, and a separate sink with mirror and stuff. Which is another big plus. If needed, you can use TV or telephone on the rooms, too. Don't know about the costs, we didn't need it. If possible bring big towels, there were only small ones on the room. But I guess you can get big towels for free if you ask, because we needed a fan (for drying hair) and they gave it to us for free for three days. People who might be dissapointed by this hostel are probably on the one hand young kiddies who need animation programs and trendy posters on the wall (we preferred to praise the existing silence in the night so that you can sleep), and on the other hand the well-known kind of traveller that books the cheapest hostel and expects a four-star-hotel with butler and stuff. Here you book a cheap hostel and get a very clean, a very safe, a quite well locationed and a very comfortable hostel, which all in all is totally recommended! Our next stop in Vienna is surely being spent at Hotel Cyrus!
