The shower only had cold water for about the first 5 minutes. My room also did not have a phone. However it was very clean and the staff were helpful.

It has a really good location for the main train station and is well connected by the city's transport network. However, my room overlooked a main road and so was very noisy. It also had no air conditioning and so got very hot at night. Nevertheless, if you need a cheap room, I would recommend it.

Breakfast was a big plus. It is not in the touristic center of Vienna, but you can reach it easily by subway. I will totally recommend it.

But if you are expecting some hostel dive, you will be pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and spacious and had a TV and phone. I was very comfortable. The staff was more than helpful, especially the guy that works in the evening. The breakfast was tasty and filling and FREE. The location is decent because it is very very close to two stations that take you directly into town in less than 5 minutes. The area where the hotel is is okay. I had a very pleasant stay overall. If I go to Vienna again while I'm still a student (and still broke) I will probably stay here again. It isn't a place for someone with a steady income, but it is great for people on a tight budget.
