It\'s like a 10-15 min walk from the metro, w/ the streets getting lonelier and emptier closer to the hostel. My last night I went to the Louvre late opening and came home near 10pm. Bad idea. I got called at by some kids and a man started following me. I raced home and fortunately nothing happened but I was scared. Ladies, plan on going home early or w/a male friend, or stay somewhere else.

Maybe it is not so suitable for western people but the price is really cheap, especially in paris such expensive city. if you are a well behaviour person, this can be a good choice for short stay.

Shoes off at the door, the Chinese-Korean lady dosn't speak any English or French which makes things interesting... One morning we had Tofu and Mussel soup with White bait fish as a side dish..... Too far out of Paris also. Could the streets be better?

In the Paris suburbs, about a 10 minute walk from Villejuif metro station (end of line 7). Inconvenient location, but great value. The one owner speaks no English or French though. Curfew not always enforced (if a large group wants to stay out later).

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 25th September 2008 Male 41+ 3/5 Comments: The hostel was a great value - 23 for a dorm bed (4 prs room), breakfast and dinner and free internet! Unfortunately it was quite far out of the center with a 12:30 curfew so it shortened my nights out in the city. Also, the manager seemed almost to discourage people hanging out together, so it took some work to get things happening socially. I would definitely recommend the place and I would stay here again for sure!

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 3rd August 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: Toooo far away from the center; at least 10 minutes from the metro station (instead of 7 as advertised; that's running speed), and at least 25 minutes from the metro station to the Louvre; that makes a total 35 minutes discounting waits for the metro. The curfew is annoying especially as it is far away from the center! Paris gets dark only around 10 pm and one has to leave by 11:15 or so to make the curfew time. Otherwise fairly clean and decent beds.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 2nd August 2008 Male 18-24 3/5 Comments: namdemun is situated quite far from the city center and the next metro station is about 10-15 minutes. but the people there are very nice. for non-koreans its takes a time to accomodate to the food, especially koran breakfast, but it's very good. if you want to stay longer in the city than curfew time, you can get the key for 5€ deposit.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating France 25th July 2008 Male 18-24 2/5 Comments: The location is crazy, from the hostel to the middle of the city is 35 to 40 minutes, to the eifel tower is roughly an hour. With a 12.30am lockout, if you want to see the Eifel tower after dark you can only stay there for at most 1 hour, because you have to leave by 11.15pm in order to make it back to the hostel before lockout. Felt very unwelcome in the hostel and the location is also in a very dodgy area - 5 cars in the street had been broken into the morning i arrived. Do not stay here.

If you speak Korean im sure it would be best. Food was intersteing, always some funky Korean food happening there. Location isnt good. It takes about 20min at least to get to downtown Paris. Staff are somewhat friendly... as long as your not coming in after their curfew. I would say stay there if you like asian culture :)

No using of the shower room strictly after 12 midnight, even to the extend of brushing teeth in the bathroom - there is no basin in the toilet. Hostel is quite a distance from metro station. Will recommend this only if you are on low budget and don't intend to stay out late.

It's on a good metro line, but it is the last stop and takes a good while to walk (about 10-15 minutes) from the station to the house. Typical Korean food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly hosts. The directions they give to the place arn't that great.

Which makes it very hard to go out at night since the metro stops at 12:00pm and there is only one bus that goes near there. The included dinner was delicious (all korean food) though. Overall, if you´re trying to save money in Paris this is a place to look at, but you may want to pay a little more and be in the city.
