Room was lacking furniture but had a good night's sleep anyway. Funny way of having traditional Irish music and disco at the same pub simultaneously.

THe floor in the room itself even got wet. The beds were very comfortable but I had the feeling that I was there whole alone. I didn't see other people. But it's an all right hostel and a good location too.

The rooms were cosy & clean & really quite considering there is a bar attached. There was a good kitchen & cooking facilities with a very large dining area. The bar attached was very good it rained all weekend but we didn't have to go far for alcohol & the staff were very friendly. It is right in the middle of town with a large car park ajacent to the building. The Glen is diffently worth staying in!

I mean, they were kind of clean, but under the bed... Regarding staff - I had booked 1 room for 4 and another double room. At arrival, there was no free double room. That was slightly disappointing and might arise the question of credibility of any reservation. However, the problem was solved and I left the place completely satisfied.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Wales 22nd July 2008 Couple 25-30 3/5 Comments: GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. The hostel was clean and in parts resembled hotel qualty. Kitchen was ample, breakfast was well catered, rooms were niceley decorated. Staff were fiendly and even gave money back when I bought a can opener. Clean T-Towels would be useful in the kitchen. But definatley a good base for Tralee. (Note, you can park for free at the front of the hostel)

Namely, there was no T.V in our room and parking was available however it was pay and display, something which was clearly not pointed out. Also the breakfast provided was not a cooked breakfast which we where only informed on arrival. Toast and cereal was provided, which was adequate for our stay, but for longer stays you may need to bring you own breakfast supplies. Other wise the hostel was lovely and quite, and the room rate was excellent. I would recommend it to many but just be aware of the hidden catches in this hostel (it doesn’t always do exactly what it says on the tin)

It was very clean.We even got towels for free. Unfortunately the water stayed in the bathroom after you took a shower. The breakfast was perfect. I would stay there again.
