Always music or TV on, a relaxed atmosphere that encourages talking with others, good organisation, very clean for its price and the number of people residing there at the same time, practical, staff absolutely adoooorable -they might guide you out in the night if you don't know the city, Bautista and Eric did for us :). In one word as in a thousand, I DO recommend this! Enjoy!

Though the rooms are small, the camaraderie among guests and staff render them only necessary for sleeping, while sitting in the lounge or kitchen is a highly enjoyable pass time. I've been traveling for quite some time and it is the best hostel I've abided in yet.

The whole place smelled like smoke and mildew. Even though there were no smoking signs everywhere, visitors and employees would be smoking all the time. Madrid also is not the most interesting city.
