It is really close to the beach, Mike the host is unreal, very chilled out and really helpful guy. Although the only advise i give is get Mike to pick you up from the airport, as I came in a taxi and the driver was unable to find the place at first because its down a little street..thus better and much cheaper if Mike picks you up.

We would suggest that place who enjoyes rest far from crowd. There is a swiming pool near the house but the beach could easily reached in twenty minutes. Mike, the host of the guest hose, was highly helpful and friendly...native English speaking and has lots of experience in Spain. We were lucky to choose Santa Pola for a night stay. Family from Vilnius.

If on foot, the beach is quite far away - but there are buses. Mike was very accomodating and friendly. The room was nice and quite large, with a TV and DVD player. We would recommend this guesthouse and would stay there again if in Gran Alicant.
