We had dorm booked, but they gave us private room without extra charges. Location is ok, anywhere in centre you can get on foot. Free WIFI, well equipped kitchen. Definitely worth recommending.

Had great facilities such as guest common room with big flat screen and DVD player and also a pool table. There was a really good size guest kitchen with free tea and coffee available as well as free toast (however no bread as everyone always gets to it before you do!). If I ever go back to Liverpool would defo stay again.

The noise from the nightclub and students across the street was bearable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. No lockers in rooms but a locked luggage store downstairs. Kitchen was slightly grim, but who cares when you can get a full English breakfast at the internet cafe next door? I would definitely recommend it.

But I found the bed sheets a bit to old and not so clean. They have a living room with guides, DvD's to watch and a pool table, it's a good place to relax. But I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room for the price.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 10th September 2008 Male 25-30 3/5 Comments: it has absolutely no character, the dorm section offers very, very, very basic comfort, but its ok, at least it's cheap. BUT, no breakfast in the price, and even have to pay 1 pound (plus 10 pounds deposit) for the rental of a damn padlock, but its still okay, I guess. Location is very good. At least for me it was just perfect. Tha stuff was kind, nice, okay, but I must mention that in the morning when I wanted to check out, nobody was at the reception for like 20 minutes! I almost missed my flight because of this! As for the fun side.. well.. it offers absolutely no fun, but it's okay, I guess it is not meant to be a freakin amusement park.. The doors close (actually slam) themselves automatically and it really makes a huge noise, a bug baaang - not very good in the middle of the night. Cleanliness was ok. So if you have no problem with very basic service and comfort, I would certainly recommend it, its a good place, for that really not much money it certainly worth it.

Would also be good in the morning if you've got an early start: hard to get ready in the dark whilst everyone else sleeps. Half of the staff were fab and helpful, the other half appeared as though they really couldn't be bothered at all. On a whole very good for the price though and the location couldn't be better.
