Comments: A very scary place to stay, it has a very run down look from the outside, but is better within and clean, but really odd feel about it. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't see hardly anyone else. The location is very poor with a homeless hostel a couple of doors up the road and we where approached many time by people begging who stand outside next to the hostel. Also it was very expensive and overpriced.

Comments: The hostel is in Downtown Toronto and is in a good location. If you arrive later then you have to do self check-in which is ok and makes the hostel very secure. More of a self contained set of flats than a traditional hostel but still works well. Bit noisy near the road, bring ear plugs if light sleeper.

Comments: Strange guy; but stay was ok after all. good location, barely clean, neighbourhood is doubtful, but the block in total seems secure... don't stay for too many days!

Comments: A bit of a palava on arrival as if you arrive before 2 there's no one around and you have to use some lock box to get the key but once inside the place is nice enough but it's not really a hostel as such, its more like a student apartment or similar. The facilities are good - kitchen with fridge you can help yourself to the food within, shower rooms, free internet, ironing board etc. Theres not really much atmosphere if you like the whole social aspect of the hostel scene.

Comments: bedding in room was very unclean. I felt the check-in process to be very sketchy and unprofessional - I did not feel safe with making the transaction for payment.

Comments: manager was disorganised and the rate we had reserved the room for was changed so he charged us more. Also he attempted to keep our passports and credit cards until his "computer worked properly" which we were very uncomfortable about. The hostel has the potential to be nice, and bathrooms were quite clean, but our bedroom was disgusting- i used my sarong to sleep on and under as the bed linen was stained and had cigarette holes in. Overall we were very dissappointed and would not return.

Comments: All the conditions offered were fulfilled and there were even more advantages (our room had a fridge and a micro wave). The place is clean, ultra quiet and has a good deal of security measures. On the cons side, it smelt kind of funny (lack of ventilation?). All in all, a good place to stay and good value for money.

Comments: This is a clean and tidy hostel. However it is very quiet which was nice at the beginning but then felt a bit weird! possibly because it is a little on the pricy side. On the plus side, there was free internet and the location is really good.
