We didn't realise we woudl be getting two single beds but it was ok. Peraps the staff coud keep an eye on the noise level of people after 1am. Overall not a bad place to stay :>

The ferry to Venice was a pretty quick ride and offered a different view on the city. The locks on the doors of the cabin could be improved. You could easily kick the door open while it was locked if you wanted to. The staff were very helpful (Engligh speaking). The evening entertainment was alright.

For example, the internet wasn't working because it was the off-season. The campground was pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so there really wasn't anything to see or do except for catching the ferry to Venice, which was a nice service.

I stayed in the cutest 2 person cabin with my friend and it was very clean and secure. I was a big fan of the mini mart at Camping fusina because they had everything that you may have forgot when traveling. We were also able to purchase fruit for breakfast. Their restaurant is also very good. I am happy I stayed here instead of the main island.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 9th October 2008 Couple 18-24 2/5 Comments: Location wasnt bad for a place to stay out of Venice, very near a ferry that leaves every hour or so. You can buy a 3 day pass but really the idiots that run the boat dont look hard so you can keep showing that pass for longer than 3 days. Facilities were good and clean but thats about all. The internet room closes early if it works at all. The breakfast which finsihes at 11am usually is done by 10am at the latest, they refuse to even give you toast. Staff are lazy and would rather argue with you than help you out (except the italian fella behind the bar who is great). When you see who the 3 managers are you realise why. Cheap place to stay if your camping. Otherwise go somewhere else.

But the walls of the cabins are too thin & you can hardly sleep at night. You hear doors closing, people talking next door etc. It would make sense to put loud groups together. We did request a quiet room at reception - they told us all rooms were quiet which unfortunately was not the case! And this should have been possible as we stayed at off-peak season!

The matrasses are not in good shape. You can hear the neighbours too clearly. Why not also a couple of rooms with double bed?

Everyone else who worked there was very good too. The cost and the ferry to Venezia was very convenient and to be able to get out of the city and sleep in a quiet place was just what was needed at the time. I reccomend this to anyone who is travelling in this area who wants to save some euros and sleep well.

It was a bit of a hassle to get to after the flight and the daily boat ride to Venice was nice but a little expensive. The staff told us a cab to the mestre station should be about 20 euro but it ended up being 46. The night guard was nice but asleep when I went to ask for a cab. The pizzeria was good.

Close to the cabin was the utility with showers and toilettes - not so convenient in the winter. Location can really be a problem if you want to stay late in the town. There is a bus until 9 pm, but if you wait for the bus 11 Fusina after 10 pm, you'll end up as we did: hitchhiking in the district which is not safe at all. So be wise!

You have to make the 8:30 pm boat (10 euro!) back from Venice or you have no way of getting back to the cmpground.
