Comments: Handy for station. Owner seemed ok but kind of scared me by stressing that I should lock my door behind me. Room creepy and rugs on bed not clean. Sheets seemed clean. Bathroom ok. Really freaked myself out with this place and had to move to a hostel! Probably fine if you are not travelling alone. Breakfast quite ok - breads, jam, sliced meat and a piece of chocolate! Perhaps the main building is ok but I stayed in the annexe.

Comments: After reserving the hostel online, we arrived early afternoon to find it locked and dark. We reached no person or voicemail at the number provided. We were able to pick up the internet signal outside (in the rain) and found they had sent one email the day before asking when we would arrive, although their website indicated anytime before 6 pm they would be open. We sent numerous emails and waited 2 hours. In that time another person with a reservation came by and gave up waiting. They never did respond and kept our deposit. Don't stay with these thieves.

Comments: I felt like a local in the place as it was a simple apartment however when lifting the blanket to get tucked in found a couple hairs that were clearly not mine...

Comments: The building is charming and well located, close to the station. But the basement entry smells terrible and there is a general air of neglect about some parts. This place could be much improved. But the owner was helpful

Comments: I really liked the Bistro with the outer terrace, the thai-restaurant next door and the location. The fact that parking space is available and free is helpful as well.

Comments: It was ok. We requested a room with two single beds but it was only one double when we got there. They owner helped us out to put a small crappy single in the room. Otherwise good location, reasonable service. Breakfast was better than most hostels. No Common room so would be lonely for single travellers.

Comments: The review I read prior to making my booking was that the owner of the Hotel was "the meanest man in europe". I am glad to say that this was not our experience. There was nothing extraordinary about this place, rather it was comfortable (basic), clean and in a pretty good location (not smack in the middle of town, but very close to the train station and the walk into the centre is very nice).

Comments: The hotel was extremely cold on more than one front. It was freezing outside and i had to ask for a heater and extra bedding just to survive- which was provided. I was the only guest for 5 nights and it was extremely creepy staying alone in a place.(ie the owner /manager did not live on sight). all in all it was not good value for money nor was it a good example of what is on offer in Brugge.

Comments: We arrived and it was shut up. Had to call a mobile number. Guy arrived 5 minutes later and let us into the empty freezing building. Showed us the dingy and damp smelly room. Thought "What the hell its only 1 night" and then went out. Left the electric light on so that we could see up the 2 flights of dark stairs when we returned. Came home at 10:30 and all electiricity was off. Friend fell down the steps and smashed her knee up, I had to phone guy again and he came around in his nightdress! He told me because we left the light on it had tripped the electric. WHAT??? So even if we had been there, the lights would have tripped and we would have been scared witless. We were 2 females on our own in this manky place. I am 31 and my freind is 53. This is THE WORST experience I have ever had. DONT GO THERE. NO HOT WATER AT ALL NO ELECTRIC SMELLY ROOMS - one damp, the other smelled of stale cigarettes. We checked out 2 rooms. The ensuite one is a joke - its a toilet inn the room seperated by a curtain! It would be like going to the bog in your own bedroom. It was preferable to use the room without a bathroom and use the bathroom on the hallway. The man was very rude and obnoxous when he was telling us that we were not allowed to leave on a light. What if we had been there?? He swore at us with the F word and was all sweaty and disgusting as I made him give me a refund and we left the building at 11pm. NORMAN BATES EAT YOUR HEART OUT NO JOKE

Comments: A clean decent B & B but not much in the way of being able to socialise with fellow guests as there is no common room. Beware of the old lady that permantely lives in room 1, she yells at you at the top of her lungs if you dont leave the shower head where she normally has it which is about 2feet of the bottom of the bath.

Comments: Granted this hotel is in a very handy location from the train station it was certainly not value for money. 80 euros or whatever the price was for a twin room there was outrageous! I would only have been happy paying half that amount, the place was very average. Actually, the place next door advertised rooms at half the price and looked a lot nicer - sorry, don't remember the name!

Comments: Upon arrival at the hotel, we found it to be closed - on a wednesday! we had booked and paid a deposit and when we called the number provided there was only an answer phone message. We left a message however we never received a response. We suggest avoiding this hotel.

Comments: It's very close to the train station, but anyway bruges is not too big, so in general any hotel would be close to it. It's TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get, for that price or £5 more you would find a very good quality one. Basic breakfast but ok. The room was clean and didnt' have any funny smell, even thought there is a strong one when you get inside the hotel.

Comments: The reception area/bar is cluttered with everday junk and my wife was charged 50c(euro) to use the bathroom on the same day we checked out. Will not be staying there again and would not recommend the accomadation unless the person is desperate for a bed. The room however was clean & tidy.

Comments: The worst hotel of Brugges ! The only positive point is the location. It's dirty, there is no heating in the rooms and take care of what you eat ! The limit consumption date was 6 month ago for almost all the products served during the breakfast ! The most awfull point is the owner of the place. Don't expect to have a word from him (except the price of the room) and the word "smile" is not a part of his vocabulary.

Comments: Idealy situated between the train station and the centre town. Large breakfast. Not very well heated for winter months. Need to be modernised.
