There are trams (even night-trams) and metro to get to the centre and back at any time. It\'s a good choice to stay not in the centre because food is quite expensive in Prague\'s city centre.

The tram runs in front of the house - both providing a good connection to the city center (15 min.) and considerable noise in the rooms. The rooms are very simple but clean, so if other options are too expensive or booked out: go for it! A comparably priced accommodation in the city center is certainly more comfortable though...

A night a guy (non resident) entered in the garden and was hanging around the hostel. Cleanliness: The room was not cleaned up every day. No bedding available. The carpet in the bedroom did not seem to be very clean.

Altough we booked pretty late on in the evening I didnt expect to wait out the front of an empty b&b for an hour before having to make a phone call to get someone to let us in. We had booked two twin rooms with private ensuites, and what we got were just two rooms with a shared bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was only at our request and was pretty pitiful. This place is also a fair bit out of town, but that did make it a quiet place to sleep. Would not have booked this place over others if we knew we would not get the private ensuites. Overall a disappointing experience after the false advertising and long hike out of the city at night.

My friends and I booked 2 double rooms with ensuite. There was no ensuite nor was our bed even a double. Breakfast is minimal. Also there was no-one at home when we arrived at 7pm, it is many miles out of town and only really accessible with luggage by taxi. I am appalled that Trav has allowed such blatant false advertising on its site.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 5th August 2007 Male 18-24 2/5 Comments: The landlord is extremely greedy, and don't be fooled by the free internet it advertises online-- internet is actually only free for the first fifteen minutes, and you can only use it when he is in the room standing over you. This means that you can only use it in the morning, since he is gone most of the day and locks it up. The kitchen area is just some pots and a single functional stove-top. If you get the dorm room, breakfast is not included, it's 100 crowns (4 Euro) more. Worth it as a last minute stay like I was, otherwise steer clear.

I am not sure if you are aware of what exactly is this place? so, i went there about 10pm, not that is is absolutely far away, this place actually is not a hostel!! i was waiting there for like two hours for someone to answer my "hello" etc, it is an old house, dirty and no one was there!! i think it is outrages and you should take some reposnibility as a service to check what exactly is that you are offering! probably after this i will never use your service as i will not trust you anymore. more - i will absolutely tell to all my friends to not use you. regards, hubert

The fridge is downstairs and very, very old. Your first image to the house is quite scary, but the room was ok. It's a bit far from center but you have good public transports. It's cheap!!!

You're staying in someone's house. How to actually get there: (DO NOT believe the map on Trav -- this place is NOT right next to Holesovice station). Take tram 14 or 17 to the second or third stop past Holesovice station going north (if coming from Holesovice, you'll get on trams going to your right, toward the overpass). The trams run on the street you want, Trojska street. If you get off at the 3rd stop, walk back along that same street about 5 minutes to #67. If you get off at the 2nd stop, walk up the hill about the same amount. The 2nd stop is not as good because there is a mean dog you have to walk past and it feels less populated/safe.

It is easier just to catch a tram from the metro station that is listed in the directions. Especially if you have never been there before like it was for us. Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Wales 13th July 2006 Male 31-40 2/5 Comments: The place was way too far out from the centre to walk but could easily be reached by tram in 20 mins or so. The road, gardens and houses were unkempt with lots of overgrown bushes and weeds everywhere. As I walked into the driveway I was faced with overgrown bushes and weeds everywhere. There was also a scrap car in the driveway so as you can imagine, this was not a pleasant first impression. However the owners daughter was there to greet me at the door and she was most pleasant and helpful to me. The room was clean but very outdated with furniture and curtains from the 60s/70s!! Looking down outside the window, the very overgrown garden was filled with rubbish. The B&B is situated next to the tram line which runs 24hrs. Fortunately my room was round the back and with earplugs I was able to get a good nights sleep. However a guest at the front reported much broken sleep!! In 4 nights no sheets or towels were changed nor was the bin emptied. Hope this will be of help.

There is NO internet access, NO kitchen, onlz a little box with a kettle and some plates in it. There is a washing machine but no dryer and will take a couple of days to dry in such a cold place. Nothing really happens here, there were no other guests despite the large amount of rooms, and we really do not reccommend anyone stay here that is looking for an interesting stay in prague, not really worth the cheap price. And on another note, there was NO FREE BREAKFAST INCLUDED, we tried to talk to the cleaner and she told us to leave...
