The majority of staff are reasonable however the woman we presume to be manager was unpleasant bordering on rude. The hotel is ok for a stay in a city where accomodation is expensive.

Wi-fi in rooms didn't work while we were there. Computer with internet available in lobby, so all ok. Breakfast was excellent and free!

On one morning, there was no hot water and I was unable to have a shower which was not good but this was sorted. The main problem was how hot the rooms were. I would have preferred air conditioning to be present.

Hotel Kurpfalz was in an amazing location, about 10 minutes walking from the main station. It's an AMAZING value and I plan on coming back to the beautiluf rooms and the great location.

We stayed here 4 nights and the room was perfect to relax after a day in Munich and there was a good breakfast to start a new day.

Parking at the rear of the building for an additional charge. Out of main part of town, need to catch a 5-10min tram. Found the street quite noisy at night.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 5th June 2007 - - 2/5 Comments: This hotel is not expensive, but in return you have to deal with a terrible location (a good 15 mins at a fast pace from the train station, in the opposite part of the city, away from all main sites and attractions), a rude and unfriendly staff, and no credit cards accepted. The breakfast is amazing though, but who stays at a place for the breakfast? I would not recommend staying here.

Compared to the other budget hotels and hostels we stayed at on our trip, this one definitely was the best value. The rooms were clean, with new appliances and it definitely had more character than most budget hotels. Breakfast was great. The only downside is its about a 15 minute walk from the train station.

Location is a bit far away from the centre, but once we worked out the tram and underground system it was fine. Also only a 15min walk to the tourist info centre at the main train station. Apart from the location being a bit dull, I would recommend.
