Comments: Definitely an amazing place -- cheap, air-conditioned rooms, and very nice accomodations. The location isn't great for Athens, but if you just need to crash there for a night, you won't find a better place.

Comments: Terrible hotel. Shabby appearance makes it 1 star standard or less. We were infomed in the morning that breakfast was not included in the price, and had to shell out another 10 euros. Dirty bed linen. We promptly moved to another hotel. Very unpleasant first stay in Athens, this hotel is not recommended at all. Only upside is that it is right opposide Voula beach (paid entry), but there are several hotels next to each other on the same street.

| Comments: - The breakfast is not really include, you have to pay for it at the end of your time their.
- The internet is not always available because the manager brings his laptop home.
- At only 10 minutes of walk from Glyfada.
- The nicer beachers near the hotel are not free. |

Comments: We came to Athens for our Spring Break - the hotel was good, but there is really no good way to find the bus stop unless you ask the bus driver to stop there ahead of time. There was no hot water for our last day or two, but the owners live at the hotel I think so they were suffering too. It was a 40 minute bus ride to Athens and the "beach" is really just a bunch of rocks on the water, but we were looking to relax and we did. TV stations play American movies and the woman at reception was very helpful with everything she could understand.

Comments: They were nothing but friendly and helpful to us. They even helped us out with an extra person we had with us. It's just across from the beach and the breakfast is huge and quite good. I'd definitely go back.

Comments: Excellent place to stay when in transit. Close location to tons of places to eat and hang out. We actually quite liked the fact that it was away from the hussle and bussle of Athens. Would strongly recommend it

Comments: I gave an average for fun because it is located way outside athens centre but has a beach across the road. You have to pay3.50 for the beach as its a private beach. The location is greatfor those passing through athens on the way to the islands but not if you plan on enjoying athens city centre- which by the way is one of the worst cities i've visited. The rooms are brilliant, the staff amazing , and all in all an oasis in a poor city

Comments: Our toilet was broken and there was no effort to fix it after we complained. The place is a half hour by bus outside athens and a little run down. We paid more than I would have liked for the kind of place this is. Its near the beach if you're interested in that. Overall, it was a decent place to stay in, but I would look elsewhere first.

Comments: Hotel was in the suburbs (40min to city) but had easy access to train & bus. Small shops close by and a 5 minute walk to more upmarket cafes, shops & nightlife

Comments: I have nothing but positive things to say for Hotel Plaza. The hotel seems family run, and the staff is very friendly, talkative, and helpful. The rooms are large, air conditioned, and have ocean-facing balconies. The hotel is about 1000 feet from the water. It's also only 5-10 minutes away from a major promenade with tons of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. which are lively until very late into the night. Glyfada is a very nice, upper class area, in between the airport and central Athens. I'd spend my days seeing the sites in Athens, and then come to Glyfada and dine. I wish the hotel were a little closer to central Athens (it's about a 45 - 60 minute tram ride), but I would definitely stay there again.

Comments: Cheap place that is located 40 mins south of Athens. Easy access from the airport to the city centre or port via bus. Public transport in Athens can be a bit of a nightmare. We found a street just around corner and had cool, funky bars!!!

Comments: express shuttle from airport drops off and picks up right by this hostel. there's a beach right across the street. city bus takes about 30 min to make it into town, but, not bad. internet here is through owner's personal laptop. ask, and you can use - if he's there. laundry may cost a few euros. rooms are really nice. staff very helpful. would stay again.

Comments: We loved the staff here. The bartender actually helped us to decide which island to go to the night before we left for the islands! It is an hour bus ride to Athens/the Acropolis but you only need to go there once so its not that bad.
