However the showers did not work at all which we were not told about and our room smelt of the drain. There is no lift access to the top floors and you cannot access the carpark from the hotel without walking the block. Wifi only works on the bottom floor. Staff were nice and the full breakfast was nice.

Breakfast-either burnt (not edible)/not what we asked for/drowned in oil. The manager was was overheard bitching about us asking for new toast to another member of staff. He was full of attitude and not very helpful. I won't stay there again.

Very friendly and accomodating. We arrived very late and woke him up, but he was extremely gracious. There were no restaraunts open at that time and we were hungry and he went out of his way to find us some food in the hotel to eat. He always made sure we were taken care of. As far as the hotel, it was a decent low priced hotel - what you would expect. The worst thing about it was the very low water pressure in the shower and the paper thin walls. But we had a great time in Scotland and I would stay here again.

Our room was number nine on the second floor. We could't close well the windows. There were little water drops falling by the wall. We like the parties but we were witnesses of a fight in the middle of the night. But we would like to add that the staff was very friendly.

The waitress was new and got the meals somewhat mix-up. The room had cobwebs in it, the beds were horrible - needed new mattresses. The double bed in the main room we stayed in had problems with the coils. The room we stayed in was not the same room that was advertised on the website which is somewhat deceiving. No shampoo, bar of soap was provided by the hotel - which was provided by all the other b and b that we stayed in. Lastly, because our plane was delayed we did not arrive at the hotel on the day we were supposed to - we called to cancel one night because of the delay in flight. We understood that we would have to be responsible for the payment since it was less than one day notice, but when we arrived the next day we expected access to the room immediately. It was obvious that they had went ahead and rented it out to someone else which meant that the room was paid for twice - once by us for cancelling and once by whom ever rented it for the night we could not get there.
