One gets the feeling that things go on late in the night in the hotel rooms that I would prefer not to think about. Still, it was quite inexpensive and close to lots of restaurants and the beach.

The room where we stayed was cleaned every day very well. The only bad thing was that there isn't a free park near the hotel, so we had to pay another 90 EUR for 1 week parking.

Clean and comfortable, breakfast for 6 euro supplement was limited but wouldn't have expected much more. My room was quiet although the neighbourhood seemed busy at night.

Hostel was seriously less than two blocks away from the train station, but you didn´t hear the train! There was a ´different´odor eminating (sp?) from the hallway and entry of room (but hey, you´re in Nice so what else is new?) , but once you turned on the SUPER COLD AC... life was great. Good bathrooms too! Would recommend and go back in a heart beat!!!!

The room is nice and cozy and the washroom is really nice and new! The area is kind of sketchy because of the guys that hang around on the streets, but they didn't bother me and I was a single girl travelling alone. I didn't walk around too much at night, but when I did, I didn't feel to scared. I would stay here again!

About Nice, not so interesting as i imagined, to many tourists maybe. Carefull with French taxi drivers, i think some are a bit tricky when charging.

Our double room was clean with air-conditioning, a safe, a little balcony and plenty of space. The staff all spoke excellent English and were very friendly. Wifi worked from our room though a little unreliable at times. They even gave us free beach towels on our way out. Only small issue was that our bathroom (though clean) had a bit of a smell about it. Would definitely stay there again.

Location is a block away from the train station, which isn't the nicest area, but works ok if you're traveling around a lot. 20 minute walk to the beach. Desk staff is kind of stiff, and you have to push to get basic service sometimes (luggage storage etc.) but if you're polite but firm they cave in. Overall, decent value.
