Please read all the details below before you book for an understanding of why we think 'West End Hostel' is the place for you to stay in Edinburgh for the single traveler or groups of up to 95! WE ALL LOVE SLEEP! - So we operate a quiet time policy after 2300hrs!. Facilities we offer include: (Please note: W do NOT have full working Kitchen facilities available until late April And Shower facilities may be limited from Feb to May due to refurbishment and a new kitchen being installed!) *No curfew!* *Free internet access - (08:00 a.m. - 23:00 p.m.) *Free hot showers (24 hours) *24 Hrs Free WI-FI *Complimentary toast, cereal, coffee breakfast *Free tea and coffee facilities *Pool table - (all available from 08:00 a.m. - 23:00 p.m. only) *Safety lockup available (access only between (08:00 a.m. - 23:00 p.m.) *Lounge with Digital TV and DVD's *No curfew *24 hour access security entry *Laundry (wash and dry for £3) Late check-in available for £5. You must call us at least 24 hours in advance. *Loch Ness and Highlands tour booking facility from reception. For our stag and hen nights we can book Club Class Party-bus Pub Tours, Paint-balling all starting from £25per person and many other entertainments. Only a 15 minute walk from here is Edinburgh Castle and the famous royal mile that is a must see. Right on our doorstep we have the wonderful St Mary's Cathedral, a popular landmark, and 5 minutes from our door is Princes Street. An easy 10 minute stroll is the infamous Grassmarket Pub area. There are a range of bars and restaurants within 100 metres and a little further are the football and rugby stadiums - Tynecastle and Murrayfield. We are also opposite the cities busiest bus interchange so you'll have no problems transporting yourself out of the neighborhood. We are happy to help!! Please note: The female dorm is only available for booking by females. If a male books this room your booking will be canceled and the deposit will not be refunded! All other dorms are mixed sex. *Triple rooms consist of lower double bed and upper single bed. *Family room consists of 3 single bunks and 1 lower double bunk. Throughout the first few months of 2008 we will be decorating and upgrading our facilities to achieve a 4* standard. Please bear with us when work starts in Mid January. All Groups over 8 Persons may be asked for a £20 per person cash deposit on arrival. This will be refunded in whole or part after rooms are checked. Please see terms and conditions. Important notice for New-Year period 2007/8: We are offering a 4 night minimum stay from £40 per person per night. (£160+ pp for those 4 nights.) All prices are subject to change.
