| Comments: Bien que l'hotel soit éloigné du centre, le cadre est sympatique. l'arret de tram et de sont de toute facon tout proches et permettent d'etre en ville en 20 minutes. |

| Comments: They screwed up my reservation. I booked a double bed, instead I got two twin beds. It takes about half an hour to get from the hotel to the city center in Berlin. It was cheap though. |

| Comments: Very good accommodation and so inexpensive too. Staff friendly and helpful. They are not perfect in English, but good enough to get by. It is very close to public transport. Great kebabs next door. Considering you need to catch a train to see the sights in Berlin, the location of this hotel is very good. Nice and quiet too. Would stay again in a heartbeat. |

| Comments: The rooms are spacious, however, the cleaning staff forgot to lock the doors after themselves so the room stayed unlocked for the day, apart from that the hotel is cleanish and the breakfast is sensational. BUT this hotel is a LONG way from the centre, approx 7 stops on the tram, then 14 on the train, so allow 45 min to get to the centre. |

| Comments: A great place right near mass transit. Nice breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Only problem was the shower curtain doesn't really help keep water in the shower, so the bathroom gets all wet. |

| Comments: I love this hostel, it was my second time staying there and I plan to every time I return to Berlin. This is the best place to stay for the money, the rooms are big and clean, I paid for a room without a bathroom and they upgraded me anyway. The breakfast is fantastic, with fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, meats, cheeses and more. It's a little far away from the city center, but it doesn't take long to get to with the public transit and if you want to go to the forests or the concentration camp, it's very close to those. |

| Comments: The hotel was a little hard to find and it's pretty far away, but the efficient public transportation system more than made up for it. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfasts are good, and overall our stay was excellent. The hotel decor is awesome! |

| Comments: We felt really welcome at the Hotel Pankow. Very friendly staff and a great place to crash after a long night; however, it was rather far from central Berlin. It took us about 45 min to get from Tiergarten station to the hotel. Beside that, I would highly recommend this hotel. |

| Comments: The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. Also, even though the property is a bit out of the main Berlin city area, there is public transport right outside the door, and the staff are more than willing to explain the best way to get whereever you need to go (they even sell public transport tickets).
The rooms were comfortable and very clean - a very enjoyable stay. |

| Comments: Great staff! The location itslef is a bit out of the way, but is very close to a major transit hub (10 minute walk, or wait a little bit for a tram that goes right in front of the hotel itself).
It is safe and clean, though the breakfasts are pretty simple. :-) :-p
I recommend it to travelers on a budget, Berlin seems to be an expensive city, so this place seems pretty good.
I would stay there again based on the friendliness + knowledge of the staff alone... |
