Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 29th July 2008 Male 18-24 3/5 Comments: the hostel was great for the price. really friendly staff, great location, and safe if you are smart enough to put any valuables in the safe (apparently they have a had a few guests steal from other costumers this past year... in all cases the culprits were Canadian...) but in all, the place is great, and i was lucky enough to have a really fun group in my room. i´d recommend it, especially because of the price.

It is very hot and having people entering randomly and opening the lights and making noise at every hours of the night makes it hard to sleep. Even though it's really cheap, it has really little to offer but a place to put a backpack and try to sleep.

My money and sandels were stolen - be very careful! Slightly coloured our view of Salamanca which is still worth a visit. Just be extra vigilant.

Granted, there was a robbery while we were there, but if you are smart and either keep your valuables on you when you sleep or lock them in the inexpensive lockers, then you will be fine. The room was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and the many showers were hot and had good pressure. I would definitely recommend this hostel to a budget traveler-- you get a lot for your money.

Breakfast is not included and you have to book it the day before... then, on departure they make you pay if you want to leave your luggage for a few hours. Beds were just OK and toilets quite big. Then, check out time at 12hours is a plus.

Most of the young people were out for the night to party in town so I had the quiet room to myself in the evening. Plus they offer free wi-fi internet access!!!

The staff were lovely and everything was clean. There is a safe for valuables... it was a place to sleep... not much more.

If you're a party maniac, this not where you're going to find it. Comfy beds, and a good location; all "sights" totally within walking distance... Only real downside is that there is no personal lockers - though you can leave things behind the desk - and that the hot water ran out by 9am - possibly incidental.
