It´s a 10 min. walk to the metro station, then about a 20 min. ride to get to the Acropolis. Unfortunately, it´s also an hour away from the airport. The staff was amazingly helpful though. We were given so much great advice on the islands and navigating the city.

I am wondering whether this is the common practise of all hotel/hostel for a 3 person room. A/C costs 6Euro more. A bit hot without A/C. Very close to port, we reached there late and left early in the morning.

The owner is great, and the new bar is excellent. Easy to get to, by either metro from the airport (about 6 euros a person), bus E96 (3 euros a person) or a taxi ride (23 euros from airport). Can even help you book ferry tickets. Great value for a hotel who even drove us down to the port when we ferried to the islands.

But the flooding was no worse than the bathrooms of the other places we stayed in Greece. Plus, the location in Pireaus and the free shuttle service to the port are handy. Stay here only if you have to catch an early morning ferry to an island. Otherwise, find a better place in Athens.
