Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 8th July 2008 Female 18-24 4/5 Comments: Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, booking tours and day excursions, etc. However if you go to the Fleminco dancing that they suggest make sure to reguest front on seating...the venue is a poor set up and if you are seating on the side of the stage, the dancers and band only perform forwards so you kind of miss out on the performance. Otherwise it was very good!

The personnel is friendly and the hostel is open 24 hours a day.

We had a postcard quality view of Las Ramblas from our window, and the hotel was close to all the exciting parts of Barcelona. There is some noise from the street 24/7, but if you are tired from your adventures and not a light sleeper, it shouldn't bother you too much. The place is very clean. The staff were mostly friendly, but balked a bit when we tried to bring some friends of ours with us up to the room. They seemed to give us a bit of attitude after that, but overall a great place!

The staff were friendly and even answered some of my obscure questions (laundromat). However, they did try to charge for the full price instead of the hotel instead of taking off the amount I paid through booking through this site. Bring your printed receipt!

Food, bars clubs...) it really is an excellent place. However it is run by absolute dicks who are rude and will probably try to scam you for your booking fee twice! However don't be put off, and ask for room 320 as it is truly magnificent!

We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but being located right on the Ramblas, there were plenty of places to eat just within a few feet. The best part was sitting out on the balcony at night and watching the nightlife out on the plaza.
