It was about a 5 to 10-minute walk to the older part of the city, not bad at all. Having internet for free was a nice plus.

The staff is great, polite, helpful, really interesting. It is located in the centre, near a great pedestrian street, lots of restaurants and clubs. It even has a great restaurant (great food and very nice people) right on it's corner! The price is great for such a pleasant experience. I only regret spending so little time there, but when being in Salzburg, will definitely book a room at this Hotel.

It is located across the river from the old historic town center, but very close to the Mirabel Palace. Overall it was a very nice place to stay, but I don´t think that they should really rate themselves as a four star hotel. It was pretty basic.

Our room was always cleaned well everyday, the breakfast room was beautifully decorated with a wide choice and the reception staff were both very friendly and eagar to help.

Very convenient to train station... 10 min. walk. One block from sightseeing bus stops. Breakfast buffet was nice. Weekly market just down street.

The staff were excellent and made us feel at home. The hotel is situated in the new part of Salzburg - took about 8 mins to walk to the old town. Would definitely stay here again

Manager extremely helpful with directions, places of interest etc. Breakfast superb. Easy to get to from airport - get off at railway station and then any bus going in direction of Mirabelle Gardens where you get off. Go in October when the weather is lovely and the city is quiet. The autumn colours on the hills are amazing. The market on a Thursday which starts outside the hotel is well worth a wander round. A lovely city.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

The location is near the old city and also a laundromat, stores, cafes, etc. Go to the brewpub down the street. I cannot remember its name, but make a left out of the hotel doors and walk down the street to the next main street (the intersection past the Shakespear cafe). Make a right, and the brewpub is close-by on the right. Very good food and the best beer we had (by far) in Salzburg.

Seemed to know exactly which bus/train went where so we didn't need to bother asking around at the stations where we struggled with their english. The buffet breakfast was also devine with so much variety. I'd highly recommend this place. Very clean, very convenient with friendly staff.

The owner is a very friendly multilingualist who gave me precise advice, although the night stuff was a little unfriendly. The single room I stayed was relatively small but I should say it was cosy enough and clean. I would have appreciated if they had a kettle and a cup in the room so that I could make a cup of tea or something (as in British hotels).
