The staff (Hurricane, Mauro and everyone else) are sooooooo much fun! Would recommended this place to anyone who is up for a lot of fun. The hostel is very central so its easy to go to all the sites. Every night, the hostel organizes a night out to a bar and club, which is pretty awesome. Then, they don\\\\\\\'t kick you out at 10 am, which is even more awesome. The staff are very nice, even when you rant to them for 20 minutes about your stolen camera they are still very accommodating and kind.

Good friends, great parties and nothing but friendly vibes from everyone involved. I give my thanks to Mauro, Eduardo, Sabastian, Dickson,Tomas, Louis, Caio and all the rest. These guys know how to run a party hostel. But at the same time I felt very safe, and made friends I hope to keep for a long time. Thanks again men! Viva Brasil!

We were there on Halloween and several of the other people in the hostel where sick b/c they drank too much. Not fun sharing a bathroom with drunks :(

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 25th October 2008 Male 18-24 2/5 Comments: This hostel has great location,but everything else is a total disaster.Weird people,making awful noise all night,really really small room with old bunk beds,dirty bathroom...total disaster.We decied to move out,but we already payed and they didn't want to return our money because we didn't cancelled 24hours before.Luckily,we stayed only 2 nights,but this were the worst 2 nights in my life.In the morning,I was even more exhausted then in the evening.So,if you are not coming to the hostel with intention to drink till drop and listening very very loud music all night,this is not hostel for you.

Mauro and Edwardo (hurricane) are the two coolest men alive...so make sure you party with them. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help. Mauro takes everyone out to pubs/clubs nearly every night which is awesome. Feels like more of a house than an hostel, has heaps of couches and dvds and air con in dorms. Sant Jordi are a great chain, definately stay here again.
