Staffs are very friendly and they gave us lots of useful information about Sydney plus pickup and dropoff. Prior to my check-in, I concerned the noise cause it is only 10 mins away from airport. However, we did not be disturbed at that night. The airport is closed at night and once the double-size window closed entirely, you could not be exposeed to any noise in yr room, whatever noon or evening.

Even if it's a bit noisy because it's close to the airport, i will recommend the place. the location is good, close to the train station, only 15min ride by train to go to the centre. good service in the place, with access to the kitchen and garden, tea and coffee available all day, free pick up from airport domestic terminal. i enjoyed my stay there

Allowed us to leave bags on morning of checkout. Upon return happy for us to shower and freshen up before taking us to the airport! Superb.

Free breakfast each morning, friendly staff and comfortable rooms really make this a great place to stay. The staff go out of their way to help make the stay enjoyable. The hostel is within range of the flight path to Sydney Airport so there will be aircraft noise from about 6.30 in the morning until 10.45 or so at night. It is also on the corner of a busy road and the road noise can be considerable so ear plugs are recommended if you are bothered by noise while sleeping. We stayed 4 nights - hardly got any sleep for the first night, but the other three nights were fine after I had got used to the noise and used ear plugs. It's well connected by train and bus. The bus stop is right outside the hostel and the train station about a ten-minute walk. We used the trains exclusively, walking to the nearby Sydenham Station which is one of the stations that connects with most of the train lines so is easy to get anywhere in the Sydney easily. We'll most likely stay here next time we visit Sydney.

We booked at the start of the trip and didn't bother looking elsewhere for the return. Sean and Co are lovely. Easy access to all areas in and around Sydney. Nice quiet except few planes. The rooms are really clean,it fits really well with the building and ethos. If you are looking for a nice couple type accomodation then this is for you. Out of the main city but within easy reach with all forms of transport. Good choice!

Been on the upper floor, bathroom was very busy in the morning but ok. (6 rooms share one toilet, shower in another room.

Since I was new to Sydney, I was glad that they offered free pickup at the airport. Sean even dropped me off at the nearest train station a couple of times which was nice as I'm not a great walker and it was raining a lot when I was there. For plane watchers, it is excellent! They take off and land right in front of you!! Not all night though - you are able to sleep without any problems. Free breakfast every morning to start your day. All a great experience.
