Comments: Good budget hotel - you get what you pay for. If you are just looking for a bed and shower in central London, it's great.

Comments: i have stayed in many hotels before but this one is the worst one that i stayed in unhelpful staff, room was not very pleasent to say the least for example no towels in the room, the sink looked like it was going to collapse at any minute and no shower or bath facilities the only thing good was the bed.

Comments: easy to find, cheap but it was let down by the state of the room the shower was dirty and the light didn\'t work in the ensuite bare plasterboard around the doors tv didn\'t pick any channels up an there was still things in the fridge from previous customers and the bed was lumpy and squeeked every time you moved would only use as a 1 nighter

Comments: Well... If you want nothing for your money just a bed and a place to wash yourself, its OK. The place looks little frightening, it looks like the worst place in the block. Maybe the outher hotels in the area ware more expensive. But the stuff was nice, helpful, the room was ugly but cleen. And its just a few steps from King Cross - well, i dont now if this is bad or good, for me it was fine, you can go almost everyware from there.

Comments: The hostel is overall clean, very basic(bed, a sink, TV, Fridge, cupboard),suggest you get indoor shower if you could afford, I think it's good value for money option. I would consider stay there again if I am in London next time.

Comments: Very good place for backpackers and weekend visitors. You've got there simple but sufficient breakfast and fridge in your room to store food for your own supper :) Clean sheets and towels. Well, don't expect quality furniture and outstanding interior decoration, but for 2 pers room for 30-40 Pounds a day it's more than enough. Both quiet and very close to tube's station (6 lines!!) and planty of bus stops including 24h service!

Comments: We stayed there for 6 days and did not have any big problems. The building and the rooms definetly need some refurbishment work. Altough we did not see anything to bad the rooms and the breakfast room need better cleaning. For the prices it offers this is definetly a great alternative in London. You get to stay in a single or double room for the price of a crowded dorm.

Comments: Nice staff, so following is advice, not judgements. Placing numbers on rooms, sign on toilet, fire exit signs+picture frames, and shades on light bulbs would make your hotel look organised cheaply! My shower cubicle had tape covering broken tiles! Spend £15/30mins, no more shabby-looking shower! Boxes under my bed?! Move these. Use your excellent location by St Pancras International wisely: spend little time+money on your place and beat the other hotels in Argyle Square. It'll pay for itself!

Comments: I've never stayed in a worse hotel room. Everything was broken and dirty. Layer of dust in some places was 5 mm thick.

Comments: You'll get what you pay for. The standard isn't great at all, but the location is, just a few minutes from Kings Cross and several underground lines.

Comments: There are a lot of dust and the shared shower is not always clean. Beds are not very comfortable and one doesn't have a large choice for breakfast. All doors are creaking and if you have a first floor room, you will be awaken at 6 am. The owner is nice and the location is very good since you have to walk less than one minute to catch a bus, take tube or a train. If you are not very rich, this hotel will be perfect for you in the case you don't mind the quality.

Comments: Location is excellent and it is quite cheap. But, all dors are creacking, the furniture is quite old, there is a lot of dust, the walls are thin. The bed was very soft. Linen and towels are clean. The owner is nice. If you dont mind the weaknesses, i would recommend the hotel for a few nights. I wouldnt recommend it, if you wont to charm a girl.

Comments: Malgré une excellente localisation, l'hôtel perd des ses avantages à cause de sa "vétusté", la douche dans chaque chambre c'est trés bien, mais les peintures d'avant guerre ça craint ( et la poussiére aussi ça craint).

Comments: The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, less than1minute walk from Kings Cross tube station.you can reach everything in few time by tube.During the night there is no noise. If you want to go around the city is the best solution, and if you want to enjoy the party life it's also a good solution because it's very close (by tube) from picadilly circus and oxford street.

Comments: This hostel was alright. It's close to King's Cross so getting to places wasn't hard (the absurd price of the metro was outrageous, though). The sheets had some spots on them, and the floor was "bubbly" for a lack of a better word. Perfectly adequate hostel, but compared to the dozens of others in the area it seemed to have no character at all.

Comments: we booked a twin bedroom but got a double bedroom!worse bed ever slept in. shower in the ensuite bathroom was broken and owner knew about it but had not told us. took a shower next morning at 8.30 in shared bathroom and there was no hot water left! My mum stayed longuer but I had to leave. other bedroom in a terrible state (electric wires sticking out of the wall!) woke up at 7am because she was freezing (snowing outside):heater only on between 8pm and 4am!Think twice before you book this hotel!

Comments: The room smelled really badly of mould and damp - so bad we had to go out and buy air freshener to be able to sleep there. The facilities were cleanish - for example, the lampshade looked to be made of grey velvet at first glance but it turned out to be covered in dust etc. Bedding was clean but the beds and pillows weren't particularly comfortable.
