Furniture broken and dirty. poor bedding; old tatty blankets with no quilts available. Shower head broken. No place to hang washing and no electric dryer. quite cold as no central heating only portable heaters. Also more importantly NO Curtains nor shutters so light poured in to all windows and doors.Door to main bedroom leading to toilet was broken and would not shut properly so uncomfortable being in bed with other family members using bathroom!

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Italy 3rd January 2008 - - 4/5 Comments: the house was perfect! it woud only need a couple of modifications...like for example, put some curtains in the single room, repair the second bathroom, do something for the heating (even tho it was pretty well substituted with the heaters!)...and we got a really HUGE problem: the gas for the kitchen ended on the night of New Year's!! so we ended up eating sticky pasta and cold fish, and nobody could do nothing the day of new year's! so yeah, next time before renting the apartment, check out the gas level :-) apat from that, we absolutely loved it!! i will for sure come back (excellent location, nice staff...)

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 21st July 2007 Male 18-24 4/5 Comments: Apartamentos Ramblas location is amazing, you get a very large apartment with 2 balconies facing Las Ramblas. You really don't interact with the staff except for picking up the keys, There are plenty of locks on the doors but beware of pickpockets throughout Barcelona. The building and stairway isn't always clean but the apartment itself was spotless. There was plenty to do at night and always a lot of young people around. Also, there is a Metro stop directly in front of the apartment so getting to and fro was not a problem. Excellent for travellers who want some privacy but still access to all the bars and clubs in Barcelona.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 22nd January 2005 - - 4/5 Comments: This is a great apartment - lots of space, nicely decorated, two bedrooms (one with twin beds and the other with a double) living room with CD player, TV, DVD player, separate kitchen (fully equipped with washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, large fridge freezer and hob cooker) large bathroom with shower and bath. There was even a hairdryer! It is on the second floor and has a balcony that looks over the Ramblas - perfect location - right in the middle of everything. The only drawback is that there isn't any heating but there are some electric heaters and plenty of spare blankets - we went in January and didn't feel that it was too cold. Also - there are no shutters on the windows out onto the Ramblas from the twin bedroom - however, the beds are set back and you can't see into the bedroom from the street. I would highly reccommend this apartment - really good value for money.
