Raja and his family are very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing break. The only word of caution that I would offer is that the location is out of the way and you really cannot rely on public transport. A rental car is a must.

I\\\'m very dissapointed about this reservation, for two reasons: 1. the information about directions to the hotel provided by your site is not correct (Take Salzburg Lokalbahn to Lamprechtshausen every 30 min.and call for pick-up). For this reason, we spent money and time to reach Lamprechtshausen (but we found out from the locals that we were 50 km away from the hostel location). The second reason: we called for more information, but we couldn\\\'t understand each other (because the hostel representative didn\\\'t speak english). In conclusion, we were unable to reach the hostel; we had to find another place to sleep. So, I demand not to be charged for this reservation. Please remove the wrong information from the site. I'm looking forward to your answer.

It was on a farm and there were all sorts of delightful creatures wondering around - baby kittens and rabbits ewtc. Our host was fantastic and put on a fantastic breakfast - although she only spoke german she did understand the simple things. Brilliant stay and would definately go back again.

We had a private apartment with a huge terrace overlooking the nearby towns. The apartment consisted of a really large bathroom with a garden tub and separate shower and washing machine (but I couldn\'t figure out how to use it). The bedroom had a dresser, night stands and a king-size bed. The living room had two fold-out couches and a recliner, two sliding glass doors and a walkout to the terrace. The kitchen had toaster oven, microware, electric teapot, coffer maker, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher!!! And, we were greeted with a huge soccer party in the adjacent bar. The staff is fabulous (the owners are the staff). The only downside is the location. It is very, very far (75k) from Salzburg and requires like 2 hours and 3 trains to get to Salzburg from the hostel.

The cleanliness and facilities were amazing and I will definitely come back here. Our host George was very friendly, he really made an effort to make us feel welcome. Book this place and you will be amazed at what you get for such a small cost.

Staff seems nice but overcharge you for everyting... breakast is 7 euros per person (for bread and cheese)... So very disapointing. Not recommended unless you have a car and you want to stay for a long time.

The room is huge and great to share amoung a few friends.. the local scene is laid back and really friendly. It is a quiet atmosphere in the hills of austria and is a great retreat. We loved every minute of it. Grand mamma cooks your personal dinners if you dont feel like venturing down to the town for the amazing food and hospitality that altheim has to offer. Highly reccomend to all

I wouldn't advise anybody without a car to stay here. Take into account extra travel costs if you are thinking about staying here, and watch out for the owner - he emerged on the second day of our stay and managed to con us out of €45 more than we were expecting to pay. Other than that, the place is lovely and in a wonderful and picturesque setting. Also, the old lady (the owner's mother in law) who seemingly runs the place was very friendly, despite the language barrier.
