The staff were friendly and helpful, and even possessed a sense of humor unlike other places I\'ve been to. Great facilities and very clean. You gotta love the free tea/coffee in the morn to help the hangover!

Just try to get a lower bunk bed--the upper beds don't have guard rails and are somewhat difficult to climb up and down. I fell off a couple of times but luckily no injuries.

Love the common room and the location.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable and having only 1 free computer (that people tended to monopolize, despite the nice sign asking them not to) was frustrating.

Particularly like dthe big common room with fireplace and piano with amazing view of the castle. You really couldnt get a better location for sightseeing. Staff were friendly and relaxed, giving the place a nice vibe.

I really enjoyed my stay there, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, the location is great (15 min walking distance to the major attractions), and the lounges are simply terrific!!! Next time in Edinburgh I will definitely try to be there again!
