Comments: Its a very nice and quiet guest house. We were pleasantly surprised. We came in by boat. Taxi from dock appx 8 min. 13 Euros on st pats day (for 2). We stayed in room 42 (three bed, second floor) which was amazing. Breakfast was great. Its kind of a long walk to City Center, but we did it once, it was fun. Catch a bus 1 block away instead. Egans is a place you would book for your grandmother. Nice place.

Comments: Was not as close to Temple Bar as I thought. Otherwise service was not consistent, either the concierge did not speak English or they were amazingly helpful.

Comments: We were always helped in a friendly and efficient manner. The rooms were clean and great value for money. Easy to get into the centre and to and from the airport. One comment - maybe add natural yoghurt to your breakfast menu as not everyone likes raspberry!

Comments: First of all, the free breakfast was excellent, with several hot foods, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and served in a nice dining room on the first floor. Our room was quiet and clean and overall a great deal. I would definitely recommend this place to couples or families. Single travelers might find it difficult to meet other guests, but if you want privacy it's great.

Comments: Overall Egan House was very nice. Our room was quite small, but not unpleasant, and had an excellent bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was good, and the staff were generally helpful. It was a bit of a walk from the city center--this wasn't a problem during the day, but the walk back took a while, and was a little frightening since it was late at night (we should have taken a cab). Other than that though, it was good, and I'd probably go back again.

Comments: I wou;d suggest putting people in the back of the house who don't party. My mother and I were woke up 2 times Friday and Saturday and again on Sunday by rude people standing out front smoking being loud.

Comments: Lovely room and great breakfast but we arrived late as our flight was delayed and the directions on the web site were very poor. Tried to call to find out how to get there and the night staff weren't much help. Make sure you get there in the day and get other directions if coming by car.

Comments: The single room (room 23) was much too small, and was obviously a converted linen cupboard with no room to move or properly use the facilities. The TV had only three channels and did not work. My booking was for room with bath, but there was only a tiny shower with a miniscule basin. This was a disgraceful advert for Irish Hostels, particularly as I paid extra for the single room. I would not go there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Comments: I`d like to thank Egans for warm reception and all useful information I got from the staff members. Spacial thanks to Kim and Ricardo for their help and assistance. I was enjoying my staying in Dublin and EgansHouse, everything was perfect: my room, breakfast, friendly staff, etc. Hope to see them all again. Thanks and see you soon!

Comments: Other than the fact that it is a bit far from the city centre, Egan's was really wonderful. The staff was amazingly helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and I found the prices to be quite reasonable. I was highly impressed by Egan's and I'd recommend it to anyone!
