The only problem is the breakfast, very poor, but I boght some things and it was ok. Staff don\\\'t speak a good english, but they were very friendly and polite, excpet one off them, but ok! Is a good place to stay in Madrdid. Short walk to the Puerta del Sol and Plazza Mayor.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Poland 24th July 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: The room was nice but VERY hot and the ceiling fan did not make much of a difference.Breakfast was very disappointing,I would even say hilarious with it's 2 cookies...The staff do not speak English even though the description of the hostel says so!It would also be wiser to separate the toilet and the shower for obvious reasons...The location of the hostel is OK, near Gran Via,Plaza del Sol and 2 metro stations.Overall,I'd still recommend it.

The place is on the 4th floor, so it's a bit of a climb with luggage. Also, I stayed in the single w/private bath, which was EXTREMELY tiny. But the room was clean, the staff was nice, and it was an all-around good experience.

I'm sure this will be over in a couple weeks and they have a nice set up once you're inside. The breakfast was kind of disappointing.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 18th March 2008 Male 25-30 4/5 Comments: Very nice hostel, many major sights are easily reached by food or the close underground stations, and there is also a vibrand nightlife right at the doorstep. -which means very light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. :-) The staff is very friendly and the hostel is nicely decorated, it has an very clean, bright, colorful and alternative atmosphere. Staying there feels more like staying at a flat of a friend than in a hostel. Oh, and its cheap.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the house is about two minutes walk from the Grand Via. Bed was really comfortable. Liked that there was plenty of mirrors and a washbasin in the room. Showers were excellent! Check out time was midday so had a nice lie-in on the last morning.

You are really close to Gran Via and walking distance to all the popular sights here in Madrid. The staff I found really, really nice and helpful. They do have a English speaking staff member but remember folks you are in SPAIN so its recommended that you at least attempt the language. Over all this is a great hostel.

Grace a HOSTELWORLD.COM , des gens du monde entier y sejournent. J´ai moi-meme une auberge a RIO DE JANEIRO a Ipanema dont le site est www.casa6ipanema.com (Tarif de 15 a 60 euros soit de 40 a 150 reais). Bon sejour a Madrid a vous tous et qui sait ...un jour a Rio, Um abraço, Stephane.
