| Comments: A hotel not a hostel so obviously no common room or kitchen. very helpful staff however. a bit far out from train station and central venice but they have a pretty reliable shuttle bus (2.50 one way). very nice hotel though for the price (tv in room, great bathroom) and definitely value for money for venice! |

| Comments: Really clean and quaint with a friendly staff. HOWEVER, it is extremely FAR from Venice. The hotel is located on Mestra, which is the city next to Venice, and not on the island. To get to the hotel you have to take the train from Venice to Mestra, then a 30-40min bus ride (which stops running at 8p btw). There's supposed to be a shuttle that runs by the train station, but I didn't see it, and was told by a member of the train station staff that there are no shuttles that come by. So if u plan on going to the island a lot and coming back to Mestra after 8p, this is not a good place for you. |

| Comments: Great place to stay in at a reasonable price. its a bit out of reach but the hotel shuttle service does the trick for you!!! the Croatian Receptionist is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the good spots to visit in Venice and the whereabouts!!! I'll definitely recommend this hotel. |

| Comments: security not so great - were woken up in the middle of the night by some random men who walked in to our private room! good location for verona though, 20mins walk into town and nicely deocrated. very very close to train station - you\'ve got a view over it and it can be noisy at night! |

| Comments: It was far, but the staff was so helpful in finding transportation. We just took one bus straight into Venice, so it was really easy to get into the city. It wasn't a big problem at all. |

| Comments: Great place to stay, would stay again, only I would have the hotel transportation pick us up instead of trying to get there on our own. Room was clean and very pretty. |

| Comments: Awesome! A five star budget hotel, if that makes sense. Satellite TV, personal safe, air conditioning, Murano glass chandelier and other mod cons. Takes about half an hour to get into Venice on the bus which is no great inconvenience when measured against the money saved by living off the island. Didn't sample the bar so I don't know if that was even open at this time of year! Looked an fun bar all the same. |

| Comments: Amazing place, A/C is amazing the only place that had it out of all the places. Very clean but internet is really expensive here. The shuttle was nice but it is way out of the way of Venice but it didn\'t mess with our plans in seeing the city. |

| Comments: Very nice hotel but too far out from Venice and there is nothing around the hotel. Takes two buses to get to Venice island. Staff are very helpful. The walls are pretty thin too so if you have noisy neighbours dont expect much sleep. |

| Comments: it is located on mainland. bit far from mestre station as well. so location is really bad. esp cant spend late night out unless you take the hotel shuttle since the area ia very dead at night after 7-8pm. hotel room was decent. bfast was extra payment but very good and heavy breakfast. hotel has shuttle service which is convenient but expensive. travel is slightly painful to venice island and takes long. buses not very frequent. |

| Comments: It is good if you want to get rest and stay outside of the tourist areas. It takes 20 minutes by bus to get to Venice for the day. They are nice rooms for a really cheap price. |

| Comments: As the name says it's not really a hostel, but a hotel - as quality of services. But the price is hostel like, knowing that accomodation in Venice area it's not the cheapest.
So I reccomend Villa Dori, especially if you arrive there with your car because it's quite simple to arrive in Venice like this. 10 minutes and you're at the bus station, and from there another 5-10 and you're in Venice. |

| Comments: Its far and hard to get in and out easy... teh bus takes 25 minutes through public transit so be warned! they do have a shuttle that costs 2.5 each way though. Its a quiet hotel and dont go if u are young and wanting to meet people but if u are wanting a quite break and ur own room and bathroom its good. |

| Comments: Except for the location of the hotel, everything about the hotel is phenomenal for the price. Decor is very nice and sets the interior of the hotel apart from other budget hotels. Air conditioner in the room is very handy during the summer. The rooms are a bit small but very quite well laid out. When we were at the hotel, the restaurant was closed for some repair work. Overall, fantastic value! |

| Comments: not close from Venice. we booked 1month in advance still they moved us to a different hotel...difficult to find.. they say its the 2nd last stop in the bus. how will u know that? we got down 2stops b4 in the night & had to walk for 1.5 hrs to gt thr.. 2nd day other 2 girls also did the same in the 30deg heat.. whn they suggested about the directions the receptionist was very aggressive..
our experience was not good. will not stay here. |

| Comments: There are many annoying messages glued all over the hostel: my favourite: Don't take away the food. It is not a supermaket.
I can understand that some masseges are necessary but perhaps the form is not right. |

| Comments: This was an amazing place, the private rooms are like italian villas...extremely nice the only bad part was it is like 20 minutes outside of the city, although they do provide a transit van, it ends at 9 pm so you cant experience the night life. |

| Comments: Great place to stay. kind of a pain to get to because it is on the mainland but it makes up for it due to its hostel prices and hotel amenities. They are pretty good about busing you to Venice and back but the last bus leaves Venice at 11pm so you feel like you are on a curfiew - they do offer buses later but for 25 euros. Overall the hotel is wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. |
