The breakfast was simply delicious and large, to say the least, wow! The only clear improvement I can think of is filter coffee for breakfast rather than instant. You can count on me being back in the near future!

You could always have your items secure but it cost you one or two pounds (dep on size of locker) everytime you locked it. could borrow lock for inroom at 2 pound 50 but only one and any big suitcase would not fit...just valuables. The staff was always willing to help and very nice. WiFi was free. Not many people looking to meet others and hang out. I was traveling alone and pretty much did my own thing. VERY worth the value though!

But you have to pay extra for the security. it is not a problem but if you want to take something from your suitcase and than lock it again you have to pay again. so be careful before locking your suitcase. and there were some people who were shouting and playing ball at the corridor in the middle of the night and 3am so i woke up. execpt this everthing was good.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Mexico 14th May 2008 Male 18-24 2/5 Comments: i don't usually critize hostels... i have been in like 30 hostels and all i say is good comments about them... but this hostel is awful... the worst i've been in... the guard is really mean... the directions are really messy it is hard to find the place and it is located in a creepy dangerous location... you have to pay 1 pound for every 15 min you want to use the internet and 2 pounds if you want to use a locker... so think about it...

Maybe a bit on the quiet side but so was all of Manchester during my short stay there. Very close to the Science and Technology Museum which is an excellent place to visit. The hostel is surrounded by some very interesting canals and brickwork and even Roman ruins.
