| Comments: Hmmm. the entrance- grubby and not welcoming. 80 steps later and you get the reception. staff not helpful or happy
was shown to our room to find a member of staff asleep in one of the beds.the room was clean, as were the sheets. the toilets were near and clean.was woken up at 2.30 y people singing and playing drums and guitars! the staff did nothing to stop this
the kitchen looks very new and was clean- would happily cook there small hostel with many good and bad points at the same time |

| Comments: The hostel above this one was very very loud so trying to sleep at night time was difficult, it felt like the rooms were shaking and the music went on until the early hours of the morning. This was far from ideal. |

| Comments: We only stayed for one night - a friend's 21st party - so our actual time at the hostel was limited. That said, the staff were all very helpful, the room small but nice, and the location incredible - two minutes at most from Edinburgh Waverley. |

| Comments: From the outside I was worried that it was going to be terrible, but was pleasantly surprised once I forced myself up the smelly stairwell. The hostel itself is well-kept, well-priced, and had an okay feel to it. The staff need to work on their people skills though...their apathy bordered on rudeness. |

| Comments: The location is perfect, especially if you want something close to the train and bus stations. Despite what the hostel's website says, they did not take credit card, so that was a little upsetting. And although the hostel is located on a small street, the noise outside (not to mention noise inside) kept us all awake until 3am on a Wednesday. Wouldn't stay here again. |

| Comments: They lost or apparently never got my booking. I still managed to get a room there but should have gone upstairs to the other hostel. Beds were average as well. I found one of the staff (male) to be a little rude. Possiably due to language barrier. |

| Comments: Inside the hostel it was fine - rooms were clean and hot showers. It was great that we got a room for all 8 of us. The entrance to the hostel did not make the best impression. |

| Comments: A very difficult experience indeed.
Was charged a second time by this hostel even though I paid for my night on arrival.
Contacted the hostel several times but they refuse to be of any help.
I would not advise anyone to give their credit card details to these guys as I\'ve since read other stories of them charging money where it was not due.
I have had to contact my bank about the payment as even a month later the hostel refuse to show any interest in refunding me |

| Comments: The place was clean but the entrance to the hostel from the street was smelly. The staff was rude and wasn't that helpful. The location was perfect, the hostel is in the heart of the city. As for the fun?!? we had fun, of course...but it doesn't depend on the hostel!!!:) |

| Comments: Firstly, I was very annoyed when I turned up and tried to pay with my Visa Debit card; "We take cash only". Fuck. I wouldn't have stayed here purely for that reason. Rooms pretty stock standard. Kitchen was rather good actually. Internet was fast - £1 an hour. When I went to leave, I asked if I could store my bags - £1 they said. I said most places do it for free - "No money in that". I didn't leave them there, out of principle. Wouldn't stay here again, because of those two things. |

| Comments: Enjoyed the stay, clean on the whole and it really was in a great location.
My main qualm is that i felt i was putting the staff out, when checking in and out and any general queries. |

| Comments: i thought this hostel was very poorly managed. we turned up on our first night and the woman who seen to us couldn't speak good English and so didn't understand us. there was a mix up with our room every night and we got moved 3times. the staff packed all our belongings without permission and moved them into another room without telling us and so we cut our trip short as it got beyond ridiculous. |

| Comments: grumpy rude staff spoiled it. fantastic location but quite dirty and the bedding was terrible. buy some new pillows. and fix the doors to the rooms. some dont shut hence the poor security rating. no lockers and a door that doesn't shut? doesnt inspire confidence. oh and the doors that do shut SLAM. not good at 3 am. as i said amazing location but obvious room for improvement. |

| Comments: The first impression was good. But later, the sleeping room was terrible. It smells like cat-pee and the staff comes at night in, switched the light on and looked after water which comes in when it is raining. The sleeping room was terrible! |

| Comments: The rooms stank, the staff was either too rude or unable to speak english, stuff labeled with my name disappeared from the fridge and there are way too many steps to get there. If given a chance, would never return. |
