Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 12th November 2008 Male 18-24 3/5 Comments: Not exactly the best hostel I've ever stayed at, but it was cheap compared to the rest of Paris. It was close to the Eiffel Tower though and supermarkets as there was a guest kitchen available (even if it was super basic). The rooms were cramped as nowhere to put your luggage and possibly the worst shower and toilet set-up for those who did not get ensuite rooms.

However there were either broken locks on the door or just one key for whole dorm, which means anyone could come to your room. And you have to pay extra fee for your sheets. However I would recommend it to everyone who looks for cheap accommodation in Paris.

There is too few bathroons for the amount of guests,and the bathroons are outragiously dirty. The staff also are nhot helpful and do no no ttreat you well. And the worst thing , you cannot sleep properly in the hostel. The roons have a door with a glass window and are turned to the hostell common area, where the noise goes until 4>30 and on. So you cannot sleep well , and suffer in the following day to know the city.

The only problem is in security. NEVER leave anything in the kitchen or other public places if you leave for a second. I lost my battery and charger there and it cost me 60 euros to buy new ones.

Everything was small and dirty and there were always creepy-looking locals hanging out in the courtyard. Anyhow, it is one of the cheapest hostels in Paris (if not the cheapest) so there is no reason to expect more. I actually enjoyed my stay, even if that was more because of all the great people I met than of the hostel facilities.

Good place to meet people, close to a metro station and only a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Service from the staff was ordinary and the toilets and showers are in the courtyard. If you want privacy and sleep give it a miss.

The rooms lead right to outside and I did not feel safe when I was asleep. There are also NO outlets in the room, which was a pain because you can't charge your phone or use any of your hair styling products. I will never stay here again and I wouldn't reccomend anyone else to stay there either.

I only wish there could be more than one key per room. I didn't always feel comfortable leaving my bag there, since sometimes the others staying in our room didn't lock the door. Great place to meet other travellers and a nice bar to socialize. Showers are not to good but i have seen worse. You want a better place, then pay more money elsewhere.
